Son’s struggles

My son is battling depression and it is truly debilitating for him. He feels alone and without purpose. He lacks motivation and direction. As his mother, I can only love and support him- I know I can’t “fix” this for him.

Even with love, support and great faith, it can be extremely pivotal in the treatment of depression. It does not denote a lack of faith in God to access other help, we are all to be that hands and feet of Christ and best the burdens of others…
Merciful Father,
Please, relieve this young man of his depression Grant him Your peace. Help him to learn to rely on you, that he can leave his sadness and uncertainty at the foot of the cross. Put wise and compassionate people in his life who can help h him realize his potential and his purpose. Bathe him in Your love as a healing balm, allow him to see himself as you view him.
I ask you to come to his aid in the Precious Name of Jesus
