- When should I arrive in Tel Aviv?
We can help you with flights. You'll see that option during the registration process. If you're booking your own flights please arrive at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, (ideally between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM). There will be two departure times from Tel Aviv to our first nights stay in Ashdod (on the Mediterranean coast). You will be personally greeted and assisted to your transportation to our first group hotel. Please contact us with any questions. Transportation costs to the hotel are included for those arriving on February 10, 2026. If you are planning to arrive prior to Feb. 10 let us know and we will help with those arrangements and reserving the extra hotel night(s) for you. You will then receive an invoice for the extra night(s) and transportation from the airport to the hotel in Ashdod. If you are booking your own flights, in order to use the bus transportation to and from the airport you will need to arrive earlier than the group on board the flights being arranged by us, on February 10, 2026 (try to allow at least 1 ½ hours to allow for delays) and at the same time or after the group departs on February 21-22, 2026. Those flights can be seen during the registration process.

You are not required to do so, as many gift shops and food vendors will take credit/debit cards and/or USD. However, not all gift shops and vendors will take cards or USD. Currency exchange vendors can be found at the airport and in various locations during our stay.
- What out of pocket expenses should I plan for?
Plan to bring spending money for lunches (about $25 per day), sodas, bottled water, and personal expenses like souvenirs, laundry, or room service.
- What about bringing kids?
Children ages 12 and older are more than welcome. For children under 12, please inquire. There is a lot of walking (in magnificent Biblical sites) and a lot of riding (in comfort through the Biblical geography). This is not suitable to all young children or babies.
- How much walking will we be doing?
We average three to five miles of walking per day. This walking is done mostly in small increments throughout the day and you have frequent times to rest. It’s recommended to start walking a little each day now to prepare. And properly “break in” the shoes you plan to wear. Avoid breaking them in there!
- What if I have special needs, with food or mobility?
Our heart and goal is for you to go! Please inquire for any specific requests, needs, dietary restrictions, etc. We will let you know if there is a solution.
