Dear Father in Heaven, today we come into Your presence with praise and thanksgiving in our hearts for You are our Promise Keeper! In Isaiah 62:6, You tell us through Your prophet, “Put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, keep not silence.” We understand that it is not because You have forgotten Your promises for You are all Omniscient, but because You want us to believe and be obedient. Today we want to remind You of two of the many promises You have made to us. The first promise we pray for is from Deuteronomy, and the second one is from Isaiah. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Praying Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭6‬ ‭over all Your children today and always, dear Lord, especially those battling cancer: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” We are also praying Isaiah 53:5 today: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Please hear our prayers, dear LORD, for Jenna (17-year-old who has undergone cancer treatment; lost her hair and her joy), cma20055’s brother – Matt (stage 4 brain cancer; surgery done 12/15/23; given 15 months to live; needs salvation), Yolanda S. (terminal), Latunija G. (lung cancer), John M. (lymphoma; mass on pancreas), Don (brain tumor), John from CO (hip, stomach and lymph nodes), David (cancer was in remission; now returned to brain causing seizures), Richard L. Even if the doctors do not give us hope, we can trust in You for healing in Your perfect way and in Your timing! Your promises are so precious to us, and they give us hope. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Oh Lord, we thank You for giving us Your Word and teaching us to remind You of Your promises! Your strength and power are without limits; there isn’t anything You can’t do! Help us during our darkest moments not to be gripped by fear and worry. During these times, please remind us of Your precious promises and what we need to do to be obedient. Sometimes it feels like everything is out of control and that we are alone in our fight against cancer. But You are the One that is in control and have told us that You will always be with us. Thank You for Your faithfulness and trustworthiness so we can live in the promise of Your peace. Thank you for being with us today and every day. Don’t be afraid.” You don’t always calm the storm immediately, but You always calm us with Your presence, whether we feel Your presence or use our faith to know it. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Oh Lord, we thank You for Your promise to never abandon us, but to always be with us! Help us to choose to believe Your promise. Remind us to accept Your presence as a fact whether we can feel it or not, so we may be set free from fear and doubt during our battles with cancer! Thank You for giving us a kind of relationship with You that we are assured of Your never-ending presence that brings us Your peace.
