    A Promise of Life from 1 Thessalonians 4:13 “Because of Christ, we have hope that death is not the end. Our hope is not dreamy, wishful thinking though. It’s a confident assurance—based on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice—that although death is the final enemy, it’s not the end.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13 says, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” It’s hard. When we lose someone we love, we do grieve, of course. But even though we grieve and suffer, we do not despair. We know that we follow a God who brings life from death. That’s what God does because that’s what he’s promised to do. Thank You Jesus for Being our hope for healing and strength. Amen 🙏

    Heavenly Father, we come into Your presence with praise and thanksgiving for You are Trustworthy and Faithful in every way! We put our hope and faith in You, and You alone. Your ways are perfect and Your words are true! In You, we find our peace, our joy, our salvation, our strength, and our love! You are good all the time even if we can’t see it or feel it in the middle of our battles against cancer! We know Jesus is our advocate and hears our prayers, then He tells You about our desires. But the ultimate decision is Yours; Your Will, not ours, will be done! When You tell us You will give us the desires of our hearts, we know You don’t mean we will get everything we want like a spoiled child. But what You will give us is the desires our hearts that we are supposed to have for our peace, our purpose and our joy! That way we can live a life that glorifies Your Holy Name! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Oh Lord, thank You for letting us pray to You about our desires! Please help us to trust You with how You choose to answer them. Teach us to put our faith in You, and not in our prayers or ourselves. Please show us Your resurrection power by healing us from the cancers that have invaded our bodies, devastated our hearts and discouraged our spirits. We believe that You are the miracle-working God and the true-way Maker! Please help remind us to add “nevertheless, not my will, but Yours, be done” in our prayers.     I touch and agree with the prayers being prayed by the DAB family, and come boldly to Your throne Father as You have asked us to. Our prayer for these precious people is that they be healed in the land of the living. And that they receive 100 Fold in this life time for all that the enemy has stolen from them. Bless them Abba, with abundant health and long life. And above all else, show them Your salvation. Asking in JESUS’ holy Name. 💞

But there are times in our lives when we want to take back control.  We get scared or worried about doctors’ reports, and we try to take the things we have left at the cross back into our own hands. But when we do, we mess things up worse than before.  We have come to know Your love and depend on it. We humbly bring our hearts and our troubles back to You, and remind ourselves that we can trust You.  You are always with us, You know our names, You see everything about us, You know every thought, and You never stop loving us. You are bigger than the cancer we are fighting! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Dear Lord, thank You for overwhelming us with Your love! It goes before us, it stands behind us and it shields us around all sides protecting us from harm. You sent Your beloved Son so we can be covered by His blood and have a relationship with You. He fights our battles against cancer with us and saves us from the fear and anxiety that try to pull us away from You. He delivers us and protects us.  We trust in Him, You and Your Holy Spirit, the Blessed Trinity, today and always with our whole hearts.
