Good morning, my dear sweet Flora! Praying the Lord is keeping you rested and strong for your treatment on Friday. May He be giving you much joy through your family adventure! You are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing love and support! Can’t help but love them! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Praying Psalm 27:4 over you today and always, my beloved sister: “One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ One thing… Mary, sister of Martha, found the one good thing at the feet of Jesus. The blind man from birth found the one thing, his sight. The thief on the cross asked for one thing, and Jesus did him one better, brought him to Paradise. The rich young man was asked to do just one thing, to sell all his belongings, but he couldn’t do it. All the people who found their one thing gained much more than just one thing. They were given peace, love, mercy, grace, comfort, etc. The list is endless! Amazing that only one thing, their faith, gave them an infinite amount of gifts! God truly is a multiplier! Too bad the young, rich man couldn’t find his, but instead he chose his stuff which dwindled down to nothing. What a waste! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Oh, my dearest sister, your faith is so strong and deep, you can move mountains! Your faith will get you through this journey you are on because you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside you giving you strength, wisdom, courage, etc. Again, the list is endless! December 1, 2022 at 12:18 amOh, precious Flora, praying you are resting and recouping from your busy first half of the week!😴💤 This first week of Advent is about Hope. When I read this devotional, my mind immediately turned to you. So I’m sharing it with you. May it bless you like it did me!🙏🕊✨❤️🙏🕊✨❤️🙏. HOPE. Wikipedia defines it as “an optimistic state of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes.” But that is selling it short. For the Christian, hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised, and its strength is in His faithfulness. It isn’t just a wish. It isn’t just a dream. There is nothing uncertain about hope rooted in Jesus Christ based on the promises found in His word. Hope placed in Christ will not waver and will not fail, no matter what the world throws at it. It is what keeps our faith alive, regardless of worldly outcome. It is a counter-cultural assurance that God will deliver His best, in His time, and in His way. But sometimes hope has to be fought for – not in our strength, but in choosing to depend upon One who is Himself our ultimate Hope, who will never let us down. What He can do is limitless, but even if He doesn’t, He is still good. The One who was, is, and is to come, will always be more than enough. We can find rest in that knowledge today, and purpose in knowing that He delights in those who put their hope in His unfailing love… Thoughts & Questions for Journaling Take a moment to think about where your hope is truly placed. Is it in your situation or in Jesus? If the Lord’s best for you is not what you would choose, can you still say He is good and worthy of your trust? How can you hope in His love for you today? Prayer: Father, we thank You that You are our Living Hope. We know that You are for us, and nothing is impossible with You. Thank You that in this uncertain life, we can fix our eyes and our hearts on what is eternal – a future with You. Increase our hope in the days to come. May we not be overcome by our circumstances, but live with humble confidence that You work all things for good. Amen!🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️ The question that popped into my mind after reading this was, “With Jesus in our corner, how could we ever give up hope?” May you day be filled with the hope needed to get you through tomorrow and beyond, my precious friend and sister! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🌸🌸

And, oh, how I truly do come to thank Him for everything He has done, is doing and will do; but I thank Him especially for you, my sweet sister! I have been praying continually for you today like I do every day. But on the day before each of your treatments, my prayers seem to be more fervent. Since it’s getting close to the end of the first week of Advent, the ‘week of Hope’, my prayer for you today is Psalm 31:24 – “Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.” As you rise this morning and get ready to start your day, I pray the LORD fills your mind, heart and soul with the courage of Daniel facing the lions or David facing Goliath. May your strength be equal to Sampson’s when he demolished the coliseum or Joshua’s when he conquered the promised land. The LORD has given you the strength and courage, dear sister, only because you have hope in Him. He is walking every step with you during this difficult journey holding you up and sustaining you in that hope! May your hope continue to grow stronger and stronger, and may it shine through for everyone to see! In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, I pray. Amen! 🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊✨✨✨❤️❤️

December 2, 2022 at 8:55 amAmen and Amen. Thank you my dearest and beloved sister!!! I am still full and unable to express myself due to the infilling and power of prayers and the Holy Spirit. Struggling to hold back my tears so that I do not discourage those I pray to have divine appointments to be a witness of hope to. Keep on praying for this day. It’s tough; it’s rough when you see the pain in other patients eyes and the feeling of hopelessness and fear!!! I pray God helps me today to finish strong and satisfied that I have touched someone with the message of “HOPE”. Thank you everyone who has taken time to pray. December 4, 2022 at 1:13 amBlessed second Sunday of Advent, my dearest Flora! Jesus is coming; He is coming soon! There’s only three more weeks of Advent – love, peace and joy. Different churches celebrate these in different order. Since I don’t know in what order your church recognizes these, I’m going with the order that my church uses (hope you don’t mind). On this Sunday, we light the candle of Peace. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Praying Jesus’ words in John 14:27 over you today and always, my sister: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, Neither let it be afraid.” ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ For most people today, the word peace means to be without problems, illness or stress. But we both know the peace that Jesus offers is something that the world cannot give or take away. He offers the peace that defies our circumstances and the peace that defies logic. Since Jesus is the Prince of Peace, He can speak one word and calm the winds and waves. He can do the same thing with our hearts when we’re facing pain, fatigue and worries about our future! What an awesome and amazing Savior we have! May your mind stay focused on Jesus, and may His peace wash over you like a warm blanket today and always, my beloved! Praying Philippians 4:6-7 over you today and always, my darling sister: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” God’s peace wins over every situation in our lives because the Person of Peace, Jesus Christ, lives within us. If we look only at our circumstances, the enemy has succeeded in giving us hopelessness, but hopelessness is not a part of God’s kingdom. His peace that touches our spirit, soul, and body conquers every single despairing thought! God’s peace prevails over every situation in our lives because the Person of Peace lives within us. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us. Hopelessness has been defeated. December 7, 2022 at 4:56 amBeautiful good morning, my precious sister, Flora! We made it through half the week already! Praying you are at least starting to feel like yourself after Friday’s treatment! I can only empathize with you, my beloved sister, as I have never gone through this trial you are so valiantly going through. The closest thing I can relate to is caring for “my Brucie”almost 40 years with a chronic illness – diabetes which led to kidney failure/transplant at the age of 30, a left-leg amputation 28 years later and finally heart failure. He never let his diseases define who he was, but sometimes they would limit what he could do or how others saw him. So once in awhile he would get on the ‘pitty pot’ for a quick visit, but then he would think of a way around the obstacle or how it made him feel. It was actually more like a “but then God” moment. God did so love that man! He had a very humble, child-like faith. I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t let your trial define who you are! You are still the same Flora you were before but with a few more battle scars and wisdom, a more acute love of God, family and life, and have a more sympathetic and understanding heart towards everyone going through similar battles! You are still first and foremost a child of God – chosen, beloved, adopted, and given an everlasting name. (Remember Jesus renamed a lot of His disciples and close followers). It’s that name, and that name alone, that can never be taken away! ✨✨✨✨❤️❤️✨✨✨✨ Praying 1 Peter 5:10-11 over you today and always, my dear sister Flora: “God, who shows you his kindness and who has called you through Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, will restore you, strengthen you, make you strong, and support you as you suffer for a little while. Power belongs to him forever.” ✨✨✨✨❤️❤️✨✨✨✨ Lord Jesus, thank You for understanding Flora’s trials and pains. Thank You that You have a future for her that includes healing and hope. Help her to continue bringing her doubts, worries and concerns to You like David did, and allow her to rest in Your loving arms as she waits upon You to heal her body. In the precious and wonderful name of Jesus! Amen! 🙏🙏🙏🕊🕊🕊✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️
