May 24, 2019 at 4:40 pmBecause my dear husband signed a charge slip for the wrong amount, ten times the wrong amount, our credit card company, Chase, is saying we owe the money. Period. They have twice removed the charge from our account as we wait for detailed instructions about returning the items. I can’t imagine they will continue to do so and the seller has not kept his promise to provide the information we need.
Lord, I pray You break the loggerhead that is holding up the finalization of this purchase return. Jesus be with the details for You are a god of details.

May 24, 2019 at 7:28 pmIf the price given was X and then the price increased at the point of sale this is fraud. I suggest you speak directly with the fraud department. I would not admit fault and assume it was your mistake. Call it what it is and demand that your credit card company do the same and handle it properly. The charges should be reversed and remain that way. Your credit card company can send you a shipping label for the necklaces if they do not want you to keep them for no more than the price that your husband agreed to pay. For all you know the merchant does this kind of dirty business. Do not fall for it. Do not accept responsibility. Stand on your customer rights. I would also right a letter to your credit card company’s fraud department. Keep it short and concise that this is fraud and you have been bullied and made to believe that it was your fault, when in fact it was not.
Father, I praise You for this day. I thank You for this Prayer Wall. Thank You for putting it on my heart to pray for this situation that my sister and brother have been going through for too long now. Give Gail and her husband boldness to speak to their credit card company and let them know this is fraud, and as customers they are asking the company to intervene as they do for all fraud cases. Give them the right person to speak with and the words to say. Let this case be resolved quickly and in their favor just as You did for me in the past and most recently. You are able. You are willing. We have Your favor because of Jesus. Thank You! Give them peace and let them REJOICE in You right now. You are for them. I praise You! I rejoice in You ALL day long!!! Hallelujah! Thank You for answering my prayer and resolving this issue for them quickly. Into Your Hands. Amen and Amen!

May 26, 2019 at 12:54 pmFather, I return to your altar of prayer asking that your mighty hand of reconciliation be at work in this dispute. If the evil one is seeking to confuse or frustrate resolution of this dispute, I pray that the forces of evil be bound in the mighty name of Jesus so that there be no mar to the testimony of the supremacy and love of Christ. I pray that the resolution of this dispute be in no way influenced by the evil one or his legions of darkness! Keep us all faithful and attuned to your voice, Dear Lord.

May 26, 2019 at 9:29 pmLord, You know that it was suggested that we sell these items. But how can we do this? How can we ask for $4k+ when we don’t know/believe that is their value? And why should that responsibility fall on our shoulders when the shop owner agreed to receive the items in return, and he would credit our credit card. Give us wisdom, Father. Which way do You want us to go? Which way to turn? What is our next best step? Speak. We are listening.

May 26, 2019 at 9:54 pmFather, I pray that you speak to this family about what they should do next. Preserve the faith of this family and do not allow this to become a stumbling block for them. Move on the heart of the merchant to resolve this issue in a just and equitable manner. May your name be glorified always, precious Lord!

May 31, 2019 at 2:06 pmToday Father, I pray that this merchant refund the entire amount to us, not withholding any portion in order to pay taxes, or anything else.
I also pray that he gives us an accurate address to where we can mail the necklaces. I pray that this package is covered by Your Holy Spirit as it travels to the other side of the world, not getting waylaid, nor lost. That it is properly returned to the owner of this store, intact, nothing missing, nothing damaged so that we will be give a full refund.gsimoninPrayers: 5621Requests: 43

June 6, 2019 at 1:32 pmNo matter how dark things look continue to hold on to your faith. See in your mind the positive outcome. Stand on the promises of God. One of my favorites is Psalm 84v11, No good thing will He withhold from those whose walk is upright. Verse 12 says O Lord of host, blessed is the one who trust in You. There are more, Look them up , write them down and put the Lord in remembrance of His word. Continue to praise and thank Him for answering your prayers, because He will. I am thanking Him now and Praising Him and standing with you in faith.

June 7, 2019 at 1:05 amThank you for your encouragement, Ruth. Lord, we love You so much and we were so very blessed to have been on the Israel pilgrimage this year. It was life-changing to have been where the patriarchs lived and where our Lord was born, ministered, died and was resurrected. Thank You, thank You for allowing us to go and see for ourselves. We are so grateful for You meeting us there, for Your loving communication to us. We are blessed with all the new DAB friends that we traveled with, each one so very kind. Thank You for expanding our horizons. We love You Lord!

June 10, 2019 at 12:57 pmHi Gail,
Have you contacted the Bank to give them any update? Has the vendor failed to respond to you ?
If you have done everything in your power then I believe you need to let the bank know and they will act accordingly ( you as the customer should be protected. Banks have made errors in the past and that’s why hey have insurance/ so your husband having signed a signature whose error was from the vendor is NOT something that you should be held liable for, That was a machine error. )Sometimes I have waited on God only to realize that He is actually waiting on my next action since he already has done his part. So in this case God may be waiting on your next move.
Hope you receive a positive result from this dispute.

June 10, 2019 at 5:39 pmI pray that God will do a miracle in this case. This issue puzzled me so I went ahead and called my bank ( Chase) and told them exactly what the issue is. -A customer purchased item but receipt had wrong price but customer unknowingly signed. Is the customer to blame ?They said that is the mistake of the customer as we are supposed to read. I was too shocked and could not believe this ! Even after the vendor has agreed .. they said we go by signature.
God is not limited by the rule of man. May he come through for you. Please keep pushing the bank until you get justice.

June 11, 2019 at 11:12 amThank you, sister Sheila. That is what we are being told. It seems completely wrong and not just. It appears at this time that we must either pay the $4k, or be charged interest for allowing the charge to remain on our account. The shop owner has NOT done what he has promised: he has NOT given us an appropriate address to return the items. And, it appears, that even if we were able to return them successfully, he might be deducting approx $1,600 that he paid toward taxes. He wasn’t very clear on this detail.
Lord, we pray, not for the justice of this world, but for Your justice. Work this out on our behalf. Contend for us Lord and bring a peaceful resolution to this matter. We seek You, we seek Your will and we are doing all we know to be obedient to You and Your instructions.

June 11, 2019 at 1:25 pmI am so sorry Gail!
It truly HURTS! I have gone to confirm on the taxation and yes it shows:
In Israel for Business owners:
Passive income from securities are generally taxed at rates of 25%-33%Let me ask you, can you claim this as a loss on your returns? This appears to be a loss based on thievery which is exactly what has happened to you.
O Lord please grant wisdom to Gail and her husband that will help resolve this issue rather than make it worse than it already is.
In Jesus name I pray
Amen

June 12, 2019 at 10:23 amThank you, Sheila, for your caring concern even to the point of doing some research on this issue on our behalf. I will have to research the idea of claiming this as a loss. Knowing the IRS, they have strict guidelines on such items. It’s worth looking into. I’ll do that.
Lord, we pray for Your wisdom to know what is the next right step in this dispute. We are seeking Your will, Lord. Speak, we are listening.
Sheila – Staff from Daily Audio Bible have attempted to assist us with getting this resolved. What they were able to do is get the shop owner to agree to receive the merchandise for a refund. However, the merchant has not followed through on his promise. We are going on 4 months since we began this dispute. We really want what the Lord wants by way of resolution. To us, this seems an unnecessarily long amount of time and his actions speak louder than his words. His actions continue to say, “No refund”.
Have Your way, O Lord! ~gail -
