Here’s a quiet prayer just for you to hold the ache, honour the truth, and remind your spirit of the unshakable hope in God’s heart. 🕊️ A Prayer for the Tenderhearted Reader Father God, Thank You for the stillness You create in our hearts when we come close to Your Word — even when it’s hard, even when it hurts. Thank You for the eyes to see what breaks Your heart and the courage to sit with it, not turn away. When I read of Israel’s downfall and Judah’s exile, of tribes scattered and temples lost, my spirit aches — not just for what was, but for how often we still forget You today. Forgive us. Forgive me. And thank You for always being a God who returns, who restores, who redeems. Let the sorrow I feel be a sacred reminder that You are not distant — You are deeply invested in our choices, our stories, our return. You never stop calling us back. You never stop loving us forward. Today, anchor me in this: That even in the ruins, Your mercy rises. That exile is not the end. That I am never too far gone for grace. And that Your plans are still good — even when the path feels broken. Thank You for meeting me here. Keep my heart soft. Keep my faith steady. Keep my eyes on You. In Jesus’ beautiful name, Amen.
