Broken heart, spirit & soul

    There are so many out there that are going through so much, just as much or more than myself. I find it hard to ask for prayer for myself. I first ask you for prayers for my children, also my ex-wife. We were married for 24 years and 2016 saw an end of that. We have six children, ages 21 down to 10.

    I am personally struggling with my broken heart, spirit and soul. I need healing only Jesus can provide. I worry for my children, I don’t know how to help them because I don’t even know how they may be hurting. Finances are a huge burden as well. I am not able to keep the house as I have too much other debt. We have been in this house since my 19 year old was born, so now I have to sell their childhood home. I don’t know, maybe this is actual harder on me than them.

    I’ve been listening to DAB since we separated the summer of 2015. I didn’t much like the community part at first as I just wanted to listen to the Word, but I can now listen a little more to others requests and prayers and poems.

    Join me as we present your petition to the King of Kings!

    Dear Father,

    Thank you for the gift of family, Thank you for the children that you have provided to this brother. Thank you also for the 24 years of his marriage that he had. Thank you that even in the midst of this wilderness he can ask for prayers for his ex-wife. May you bless this man with peace, joy , hope , assurance, and wisdom. I ask that you remove fear ,worry and anything that may prevent his breakthrough. Please show yourself strong in the life of this precious family.

    Father your word says in Psalm 51:16-17
    16For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

    Our Brother has a broken spirit and heart so Lord please heal him, forgive him where he has fallen short of your glory and provide for him as you are our father.

    Thank you Lord ; we trust you and have no doubt in you.

    Father, I’m standing right with Sheila and this man at Your throne of grace. I bring him to You asking you to heal his broken heart after you do the work that needs to be done in it. Holy Spirit comfort him as only You can. Wrap him in Your arms and assure him of Your unfailing love for him. Bless him for staying in The Word and for praying for his ex and children. Thank You for working ALL things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. I ask You to bring healing and restoration to his entire family. Show him how to manage his finances well and get that debt paid off quickly. You are able! I thank You in advance for doing it and for answering these requests. You are such a GOOD Father!!! You are holy!! Thank You that because of Your goodness, love and mercy we can come before You. I’m SO excited about seeing You face to face!! Give me visions of the real deal (if I can handle it!) until that day comes. I want to be changed by You. I want my face to shine like Moses’ did because He was in Your Presence. Oh Daddy. Thank You that this brother asked for prayer today, just like I did. It takes faith, humility and desperation sometimes. He mentioned not being into the family or community of DAB…I’ve felt the same way, but this year it’s going to be different, I know. I already see it. Maybe it’s because I got on the Prayer Wall or maybe it’s because I’m taking the time to listen to those who call in. I need a family of believers, You know that. While my mind just can’t comprehend DAB being that in a tangible way, with YOU ALL things are possible!! Thank You, Jesus!! Bless this man and let him walk with You each day. Show him how to love and support his children. Give them good open communication. Thank you. And so it shall be. And so it shall be. Amen. Hang in there, brother. You are not alone. God is your refuge and a very present help in times of trouble. Cling to Him. He loves you and is caring for you. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. He will never fail you or forsake you. Rest in Him tonight, tomorrow and each day after. The past is over and done. Walk with Jesus into the future. Shine brightly for your children and just keep loving them- that’s the best gift you can give them. Praying for you all.
