October 1, 2024 at 1:19 pmAs a child, Mephibosheth had been crippled in an accident and could not walk. He was born into royalty, but his grandfather Saul and father, Jonathan, had been killed. Now he was living as an adult in Lo-Debar, one of the poorest, run-down cities of that day. When King David found out Mephibosheth was alive, he sent his men to carry Mephibosheth to the palace
October 1, 2024 at 1:20 pmHe restored to Mephibosheth all the land that belonged to Saul and allowed Mephibosheth to live in the palace and sit at the king’s table. Mephibosheth couldn’t believe it. I love this picture of Mephibosheth being carried to the palace. God was showing us that even when life throws you a curve, when it’s unfair, when you are dealt a big setback, God is still going to carry you into your destiny.
