Hi,
I made a commitment to engage in DAB for this year and it’s tough. I love listening to the bible, especially all of the history, and praying with Brian. But the community part is hard. I called in with songs that were on my heart but then I really wanted to hear them on the broadcast and felt like I just selfishly wanted to hear my voice. Then I felt isolated/grumpy thinking that most of the callers seem to know each other and I felt left out. Anyway, having a bad attitude. This community has been around for over 10 years. I myself have been listening since 2010. Many of the regular callers have been around for a number of years to. So we do know each other in a way, or met at DAB events. I’ve called in too and have similar attitude issues. Even though I rarely hear my name I know people are praying or are blessed and I know God hears and appreciates it. It took me years to fully appreciate the community part of the DAB, rather than just the Bible & teaching. Please don’t be discouraged. Please keep calling in and bless the community with your words & voice.
Do you have Facebook? Have you found the DAB friends Facebook group? That’s a good prayer community too.
