We as representatives, and ambassadors of CHRIST to this world, should never spew hateful speech. This dose not represent the true character and nature of the God we serve. The WORD of God dose says about our conduct, that we are to preach the WORD, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Tim. 4:2). — (Jude 1:3b), “it is needful for me to write unto you that you should contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. We are called to fulfil the Biblical mandate, of contending for the faith. Also we are exhorted to continually be speaking THE TRUTH in love (Eph. 4:15). By reproving, rebuking, exhorting, with all longsuffering and doctrine. — in love. “It must always be done in love”. Christians are fulfilling a Biblical mandate.

The point is, that to my knowledge no one on the DAB prayer wall is spewing political rhetoric under the flag of Christianity as our above poster would infer. What I am aware of is brothers and sisters who are in love with JESUS, and who are — Standing up for, — defending, — and contending for the faith that’s referred to in JUDE 3. 💓

Attempting to squelch the testimony of the saints… Acts 4:17-18 “But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to anyone in this name.” So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.” Father, You have given us Your great commission. The opposition, usurper and accuser has been at work from Genesis 3 and now that God has given us the Gospel, He has reversed the curse. The enemy would like no better than to silence His people and press “Cancel” or the “[Delete] key. God has written and is writing His love story through our lives and the testimony of the results of His WORD and supernatural power. Who dares to stop such things? Will we deny God’s pleasure in the working of His people’s obedience to His WORD? Father, I pray that we would all test the spirit that drives us… are we encouraging others to enter into Your covenant or hindering the gospel? Praying that each one of us realizes that Jesus has hit the [Enter] key and released the Holy Spirit to empower us and to carry on the Father’s work. It is our job to pray. 1 Thesalonians 5:16-23 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” I pray that we will follow Paul’s lead and not remain a Saul. Let us allow Christ in me to be the hope of glory and not quench what the Holy Spirit wants to do in and through me, today, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
