January 2, 2017 at 9:00 pmDearest friends in Christ,
I am deeply struggling with finding the energy to do anything, and I feel so empty. As I look at my task list growing longer and longer I continuously feel overwhelmed, yet don’t have the heart to get any of it finished. It’s reaching a point of crisis, and though I’ve tried so many different things – it just feels so hopeless. My college is suffering, my relationships and my optimism, but through it all I feel tethered by my faith. His grace and mercy are truly being a lifeline at the moment, but the problem still persists. Any prayers or bible verses are so appreciated, welcomed, and helpful.
Thank you and have a lovely day 🙂

I used to have the problem of procrastination but realized that that only comes from the enemy! He is a liar so you must tell yourself ” NO I cannot do this to myself”. By the help of the Holy spirit you can supernaturally overcome this problem.
Ask the Holy spirit to help you. Remember he is the comforter that the Lord Jesus Christ gave us. I speak to him always and he reminds me of so many things!! I used to be a very forgetful person!! But I decided why not tap into the Holy spirit… It’s amazing what you can achieve by the help of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says in James 4:2 warns us that “we have not because we ask not.” Please ask and you will receive.

January 3, 2017 at 3:38 pmDear Carmen,
This was a struggle I faced in college as well. Stress and worrying caused me to procrastinate which only amplified my problem and feelings of doubt.
Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life that is more beautiful than you can imagine. My favorite bible verse in times of worry is in Matthew 6, but most importantly these verses:
“27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”Keep your eyes on the Lord and have faith in his plan. I’ll pray for your continued strength!
