May 9, 2019 at 12:11 pmPlease pray for my boyfriend Bob to be set completely free from alcoholism, depression, PTSD, and from smoking cigarettes. He is in his 60’s. He at times says he desperately wants to not drink or smoke. He wants help, discusses rehabs, tries to cut back slowly to avoid another seizure. Then he will go into a binge( approx 25-30 beers a day) for several days. Won’t hardly eat or drink water. Just drinks beer. So then he won’t, can’t even discuss treatment. He is a Christian and a veteran. Satan is loud and clear in his head…..

May 9, 2019 at 3:46 pmBeloved,
Bob is under serious Satanic bondage . Bob needs Deliverance that only Jesus can provide.Heavenly Father,
I pray that you will visit Bob in a SUPERNATURAL way and deliver him from the chains of addiction that are set to destroy his life and soul. Father I plead for the soul of this man to get right with you because your word tells us CLEARLY …
In 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God
Therefore my prayer O God is that you will set Bob free from the snare of the enemy who has deceived so many people to believe that by being Christians they straight away get a ticket to heaven.
O Lord I ask that you DESTROY the root cause of this addiction and open the eyes of Bob . Help this man come to his senses and deliver him speedily my father before it is too late for his soul. Save this man O God. Have mercy on him as the enemy seems to have completely taken control of him. Please pull him out of that dark deep that leads to perdition.
In Jesus name I pray
Amen

May 9, 2019 at 3:56 pmHeavenly Father, I stand with this sister before your throne, thanking you for entrusting us with this urgent request. I thank you for the care this sister has for Bob that she would disclose such serious facts to our community of believers. I stand with her in coming up against Satan’s grip on Bob’s body and mind. In our own strength we have no weapons powerful enough to war against Satan. But in keeping with your commands in scripture, I call on you to deliver Bob from his addiction and the Satanic hold on his life that is secured by the demons of darkness. In the mighty name of Jesus, I ask that Satans hold on Bob be released and that his dwelling and his mind be swept clean of any further Satanic activity. I pray that your Holy Spirit enters Bobs home and his heart and begins the work of Bob’s healing and deliverance from the bonds of addiction. Father, asking this on Bob’s behalf is a step of faith on our part. Our flesh tells us that addiction is too great a stronghold for us to place on your altar of healing, that this condition is too far gone to be capable of redemption . But in the name of Jesus, who died for Bob on the cross, I declare that this request is not too difficult for you. I stand beside my sister and ask that you pour the oil of anointing on Bob’s heart so that he is able to stand upright before you and receive this deliverance and healing of the disease of addiction. I ask that my sister be prepared in her heart and mind to support Bob as he begins the journey of sobriety, something he may believe is impossible. I stand before you, Lord, pleading for Bob’s life. Oh Lord, grant that you reach Bob before addiction takes his life from him. I desperately ask you that Bob will respond to your call, and that he will choose life. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that you cover him with your blood, that he be immersed in the healing power of Jesus blood. Father, assemble still more prayer warriors around this altar to plead for the life of this suffering brother. Surround him with resources and supportive friends and family members who will stand with him during this difficult time of separation from addictive substances, things that masked the pain in his life. Heavenly Father, please help Bob to deal with his pain and with the fears that drove him to full and numb feelings that were too great to bear. Heavenly Father, I ask that we remain faithful in interceding for Bob, and that we call out his name continually before you until his complete healing is manifested.

May 9, 2019 at 4:19 pmO Lord please have mercy on Bob and save him speedily. You have delivered many addicts so Bob should not be an exception. Please give him a chance to a true life filled with Christ and not addictive substances. He needs your peace in his heart, please fill that void so he cannot fill it with addictive substances.
In Jesus name I pray

June 8, 2019 at 5:13 pmPrecious Lord, our community comes back before your altar to intercede for Bob and his girlfriend. We call out their names again seeking their full deliverance from this life of addiction. Father, is it a coincidence that we have Bob on our hearts? I thank you for the prompting to pray for Bob and his girlfriend. The road to sobriety is a difficult, rocky, anxiety provoking experience — unless you take our hands and walk with us every step of the way! Father, I pray this hour for Bob’s soul, and for the vision you have for his life after he returns to your waiting arms. We pray that Bob would be delivered by your Holy Spirit from his addiction, and that Satan’s hold on his life would be defeated.

June 10, 2019 at 9:18 amThursday evening, it was just days before I was predestined to respond to Gods call on my life. I nearly fell out of my seat when my domestic violence counselor said she was going to charge me with endangering the elderly after I shared with our group the events over the past week. It was even written about in the newspaper, so I brought the article thinking it would prove I was again a victim of abuse. That kind of thinking was about to leave my life for good.
My boyfriend Charlie was released from the psychiatric ward of the hospital and had tried to visit me at the Graff’s home. I would not have classified the Graff’s as elderly, though they were older than me.
The counselor said I would have to leave the Graffs. Where did she expect me to go? I had no money. I knew no one in Savannah except drug dealers, addicts, and prostitutes. I was all three. Being clean from crack cocaine for about six months, I had a thread of hope. I hadn’t used out of sheer fear that Charlie might find out. I was grateful despite his abuse.
The next day I waited for the delivery of some money from my estranged parents. This was the only way they knew how to love me, put a band-aid of money on the immediate need and hope the problem would go away. I was their problem or so it seemed for all I could ever remember.
My counselor was arranging for me to go to a shelter for
protection. I would file a restraining order on Monday and look for an apartment and a job. Meanwhile, Charlie was revealing all the sordid details of how we met to the kind couple who had given me a place to stay. He even accused me of using drugs in their home, which surprisingly wasn’t true. There was no hiding from the truth anymore. Turbulent tears of freedom ran down my face. Jesus is right, the truth will set you free!
As a child, I told everyone the truth about what was going on in our house. No one came to free us from the pain of abuse. Around 10 years of age I lost hope and became what our culture today would label a survivor.
I tell you the truth, surviving without authentic forgiveness which can only be accomplished by Jesus the perfect Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world is death in disguise.
For 40 years I turned all my anger, unforgiveness and disappointments towards God inward, it devoured me like cancer.
The Graff’s tenderhearted they were, couldn’t understand.
The money arrived and Mrs. Graff’s daughter, a Christian, drove me to the shelter, on the way over she said: “Whatever you’re going to do from here, you’re going to need God.” I thanked her and walked fearfully through the intake door. The worker took my information and all my belongings in exchange for some bed sheets, a few essentials and a list of duties I was responsible for during my stay. It reminded me of jail. The staff seemed bitter and merciless. I was shown my room that had four beds and two other women. I had compassion for these women. Some had three or more children and no hope but to go back to the very reason they were there! I thought I was different from them. I wasn’t.
Monday, before I left the shelter I remembered what Mrs. Graff’s daughter said about needing God. For the first time in my life, I knelt down by my bed and prayed “God, if you’re real, please take the desire to do drugs out of my life.”
I left with God’s first miracle, I didn’t want to use drugs for the first time since I could remember. I had the power that day to receive love by God’s grace. He attained an apartment that day for me and I was working within a week.
June 13, 2005, at 11:00 am, I was physically weak from years of all kinds of substance abuse, I was emotionally damaged from a broken home and an abusive childhood. I was in fear for my life at the hands of yet another person who said they loved me. I asked God for a miracle and He answered with more than one. He asked me to be His child. I said yes to His Son Jesus. I had faith the size of a mustard seed.
Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”Jesus paid for all sin, for all people, past, present, and future!
On the Cross at Calvary with the justice of a Holy God, the death penalty.John 1:29-31
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:1-14
1 In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Salvation is a free gift by Gods grace, receiving the truth seems to be the hardest part.
I think because we really know we do not deserve it, nor could we ever do enough to earn it………add to that the cost.
Oh, it will cost you! The cost for God Our Father in Heaven was great but He thought we were worth it.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The Holy Spirit God, raised Him from the dead in three days, defeating death and the power of sin. The Way, The Truth, and The Life, Jesus, restores life and gives His purpose to live for, and a gift to give away. HIS LOVE!
Matthew 19:27
27 Then Peter said in reply, “See, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”
Matthew 19:29
29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.We love and do works of love now only because we are compelled because he loved us first.
