Depression gripping my wife

Asking for some community love in the form of prayers for my wife. She has had a history of feeling overwhelmed, and for the last few years has had menopause wearing her down. More and more the feeling of being overwhelmed is being replaced with depression, sometimes crippling depression. We are trying to get it under control but things just get worse. Thank you for bolstering our fight to victory through your prayers. I am still all-in and thankful for God’s grace though I am definitely tired myself.

October 2, 2024 at 8:03 pmI am praying for this situation! I understand hormones out of whack as well. I pray this will drive your wife to the feet of Jesus. That she would KNOW the fullness of His love for her. I pray that she would know her identity and walk worthy of His calling. I believe she will love the Truth of God’s Word. I pray she will seek His Kingdom first and have a revelation of the finished work of the cross. IJN. 🙏 Amen

October 3, 2024 at 8:55 amI know about the crippling effects of depression! I’ve been there at least three times in my life. My only breakthrough came when I spent my time in His Word and Worship. Also taking long prayer walks in the Evening. For some reason God feels closer when I’m outside praying. Please have your wife try these suggestions & I will life her up in prayer. Depression is definitely a sense of being a hopeless prisoner but Jesus came to set the captive free. Sending love and support to you and my Sister in Christ🙏🏾❤️
