Prayers Friend, I am going through this as well. Lord we lift this friend up to You in prayer. You have instilled and equipped them in a specific skill set. Thank you for that gift. I pray that You will send Your servant to a place where these gifts and talents can be used. I trust that You have already prepared a place for them and that You will lead them right to it. Stir up in the hearts of interviewers, recruiters and HR (or whomever the teams leads may be that will make these decisions). Open their hearts to receive Your servant. And allow for Your will to be done. During the job search, interview, hiring all the way through to first day on the job and every day thereafter, may we ALWAYS remember that this position was and is a direct GIFT from You. May we never complain or grumble, but always rejoicing and seeking Your face on our employment “mission”, working unto the Lord and not for man. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for caring about these details. For loving us so much that You instill in us a desire and longing to having meaningful purpose in our employment efforts.
