January 6, 2019 at 7:10 amDear Brother,
I mistakenly deleted my first response to you. I am sending you another because this is important.
What is God saying to you at this time? What are you finding Him saying to you in His Word?
You are the head of your household, the priest, the gatekeeper.
Don’t let the enemy or the ‘inner me’ deceive you. This is a time to stand firm, make sure you have on your spiritual armor and use it well. Ephesians 6:11 says, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.” This is definitely a scheme from the pit.
God not only has the answer, He IS the answer to your problem. Everything you need He is.
If you are in a strong Bible believing fellowship you may want to seek Godly counsel. If there is no counseling ministry, Focus on the Family has counselors and can connect you with Christian counselors in your community. Their number is 1-800 A-FAMILY.Father, Thank you for Who You are! Thank you for loving this brother and joining him to this community for such a time as this. May he draw near to You, Father. May he be comforted by You, look to You for wisdom and understanding, and hear Your voice. May he not follow the voice of a stranger.
I pray that as he looks to You to resolve this matter, in just the right way for him, that he not become discouraged and quit, but find his strength in You to see it through, Your way, by your grace. May he and his wife experience a stronger marriage in You because of his obedience. In Jesus Name, Amen8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways My ways,”
declares the LORD.
9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so My ways are higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
10For just as rain and snow fall from heaven
and do not return without watering the earth,
making it bud and sprout,
and providing seed to sow and food to eat,
11so My word that proceeds from My mouth
will not return to Me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please,
and it will prosper where I send it. Isaiah 55:8-11

January 6, 2019 at 7:30 amAbba, Father! How we love You! Our focus is upon You and what You want, O Lord! We walk by faith and not by sight. And certainly not by our feelings. Father, may I ask for a new heart for this dear brother? He needs to know his position and how You have ordained his steps. Lord, please strengthen him to be the man You want him to be. Give him a hunger to search Your Word regarding his relationship with his wife and how he has a covenant with You and with her. Allow him to fall deeply in love with You, stir up his heart. After that we know that falling in love with his wife will be easy and he will wonder why he ever thought of leaving. Thank You Jesus for all You have done. Praise and Honor and Glory to You!
