blk.str.lvPrayers: 13Requests: 13
August 15, 2019 at 12:28 pmHello DAB Family, I’m so thankful for this community and I just thank God for the opportunity to share the matters of my heart with such caring Christians. I normally feel selfish sharing my prayer request, but know that I pray with you all when I hear the prayers at the end of the days reading. I’m asking for prayers first for my mother and our family. My grandmother who was the organ player in the church we attended when I was a child – was called home to join our Heavenly Father on Tuesday. I so blessed to have the memories of her and I ask for prayers for our family during this time. She lived a long and wonderful live raising 6 children, doing hair and being a vital member in the church. My mother, who completed her 2nd fight with cancer finished her chemotherapy not too long ago – underwent eye surgery and is recovering- I’m asking prayers for her and just want to lift her up. She is so strong and so amazing and I want to have an even stronger relationship than before with her. Secondly, I’m asking for guidance and strength during a time of transition. I took a job with my company 6 months ago that moved me and my girlfriend to DC and we faced hard times making things work. Thankfully, my job is transferring me back to Kentucky- but this time our battle is a financial one trying to drive back and forth, finding another new apt and finding my girlfriend work. Lastly, we are in desperate need of finding a church home as well. I haven’t been the best Christian and my walk has been lacking. I feel God pulling me back toward Him. My girlfriend and wish to get married but are trying to get our walk right but it’s been hard battling our anxiety and trying to stay focused. If you made it this far – thank you my friend. You are a true prayer warrior and I’m thankful for your thoughts and prayers. In Jesus name. Amen.

August 15, 2019 at 2:34 pmHeavenly Father, I stand in agreement with these prayers and praise you for the many faithful prayer warriors who are filling the heavenly chambers with petitions on behalf of Michael and his girlfriend. I thank you for your hand in the life of this couple, and for the way you are wooing both of them into a stronger walk with you that will lead to a firmer foundation for their marriage. Strengthen their faith during this time of transition, and cause them to lean wholly on you for all of their needs. I pray that you will lead them to the new homes that you are preparing for them even now as they begin their move back to Kentucky. Lord, you own all the resources in the world, so we know it is not a problem to provide for the needs of this couple. Let your provision and your miraculous power bring them abundant joy, and draw them ever closer to you. Father, I pray that you would bind the enemy from any influence or diversion of these young adults from their forward progress in faith and discernment of your will. I pray that you will become the cornerstone of their relationship, and that they will become a mighty force in serving you. I pray for the healing of Michael’s mother, and for an extension of her life of loving her family and serving her community of faith as a warrior and a pillar. I pray that this couple would be able to relax and shed their anxiety knowing that you have every detail of their lives in your hand. I pray now that you would anoint the doorposts of their homes with oil so that these premises will truly be hallowed ground. I pray that you would pour your blood over this couple, and lead them into a season of forgiveness and maturity as your Holy Spirit falls on them anew and afresh each day.
