February 1, 2019 at 8:45 amI really need prayer. I am a high school administrator in Washington State. Yesterday I was informed that a parent made a formul complaint against me. The context of the complaint is racism. Which, is extremely wounding and hurtful especially given our current social milieu. My heart is grieved because I’ve worked so hard for several years to build rapport, break down barriers in school systems, and support our students of color. I was apparently recorded by a student during a conversation, and then the recording was manipulated and huge chunks of conversation were didacted so that it sounded like I was saying things that I didn’t. And the transcript alone looks horrible. And I can understand just looking at the way that the transcript was put together that it looks bad. but I completely remember that conversation and that interaction with the student and it’s not the way it’s being presented. And my heart is grieving because I’ve worked with the student over and over and over for the last several months supporting this student and helping her navigate different issues. The student has sought me out on several occasions even just to talk to me, and then I get slammed with this. I don’t even know where to go from here because it could end my career. I have always seen the school as a mission field, and a way to just love kids and shine God’s love to students, staff, and families from all walks of life, from all religions, from all ethnic backgrounds…from just all places. I’m often been called the administrator that kids just can go to because they feel safe. So this just is coming so unexpectedly. I just don’t understand. I took a risk in leaving this on the prayer wall because it’s a really a vulnerable subject, but I was listening to the Daily Audio Bible last night and I heard Shanta from Detroit say it’s okay to take a risk, so that is what I’m doing. I know that it’s going to be painful journey no matter what, and I know that there’s a lot of learning even on my part to be done, but I’m just asking that the truth –the real truth comes out and that God gives me wisdom as I navigate this situation. Thank you.

February 1, 2019 at 10:54 amBeing married to a school administrator who also endured false accusations, Lord, I know that it’s really difficult to get to the real truth. Or, even if one does, for it to be believed. People seem to want to believe what they have made their minds to believe. Humbly we bring this believer before You asking for Your hand of protection through this whole, messy, emotional process. Cover them, Lord, with Your presence. Cover them, Lord, with Your righteousness. Cover them, Lord, with Your holiness. Lord Jesus, cover them. Help this believer gird up their strength in You, ask trusted believers for prayer, and seek to uncover only the truth.

February 2, 2019 at 1:40 pmNo. This is not going to be a painful journey. This is going to be a journey of love. A journey of redemption and power and one that you WILL rise up out of with complete vindication and victory in the name of our Lord. Do not be afraid to speak his name in this. Do not be afraid to testify of his glory and his power and honor. The enemy is trying to silence you , but God is setting you up to have a voice that will change lives and bring people into the kingdom. Do not fear over the potential loss of your job. God can do anything and everything and he will not leave you without. He will give you more, more, more of him and his authority and his glory as you surrender to his will. When you feel low , praise him. When you feel doubt, praise him. You will have a testimony that is full of his promise.

February 9, 2019 at 6:15 pmI just want to say thank you for all of the prayers. At the district level, it became quickly obvious that the written transcripts have portions of conversation missing. As of right now, our building principal has reached out to the family, but they have not responded. Continued prayers for reconciliation for all parties involved, humility on my part as I listen and own what I need to own, but stand firm against what is a false representation.
Thank you again for the prayers. I feel God with me–protecting me, allowing my self to trust others to navigate the situation, and teaching me to just being still.

February 9, 2019 at 11:28 pmWhen I read your latest post the first thought that came to mind was ‘you got it and God’s got you.’ Be humble, be firm and be still just like you wrote and it’ll all work out. So Father we are believing this — that it WILL work out — and trusting You to shine Your light onto the truth of this situation including motive. Then bring repentance, healing and reconciliation into the situation. For Your glory. Amen.

February 11, 2019 at 9:26 amAmen. Dear Lord as we pray we come along side this believer to comfort and in unity for the truth to prevail. Proverbs 19:5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. El testigo falso no quedará sin castigo,Y el que habla mentiras no escapará. We pray Lord that you go before and fight the battle for righteousness. 1 Samuel 8:20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. y nosotros seremos también como todas las naciones, y nuestro rey nos gobernará, y saldrá delante de nosotros, y hará nuestras guerras. Please bring your comfort and peace to this believer and may all that know them raise up in their defense. In the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
