January 14, 2022 at 10:22 pmHello DABC this is Edwin. This is the first time i’ve ever done something like this, even typing it feels strange. I’m in need of some guidance and prayer. I have no peer group at my church. My church like most churches is filled with families, young children and the elderly but we are blessed with a good amount of teenagers also. However since there is a tendency to put people in similar categories it means that it’s difficult for those outside of the established boxes to find a place, i’m one of those people. God willing this year I will turn 40 years old, however it seems the older i get the less likely of being in a community group, i’m not a parent, nor am i married and i’m much older than the young adult group. Appreciate prayer, i’m not sure what to do here, this is the first time i have felt unsure about what the Lord wants me to do. Thanks in advance.

January 14, 2022 at 10:32 pmDear God, First I thank you for giving Edwin the courage to ask for prayer. I also thank you that you have effected his life enough he has heard your voice and is asking for assistance. I pray you bring him understanding to what you have called him to do. I pray you help him feel more included in your community wether that be in the church he is in, or another. I pray you fill him with the Holy Spirt and tell him what to do. I pray you bring him peace in this time of hardship and that you grow his faith through this experience. In Jesus name, Amen

January 15, 2022 at 6:30 amAmen to the family’s prayers. Abba Father! How You love Edwin! Thank You for giving him the courage to post his prayer request. Oh Father, You are doing a new thing. As we listen and pray for Edwin, we know in the Spirit that there are so many possibilities for Edwin to serve You. Guide him O Lord, to perhaps break out of these boxes that not only stereotype him but YOU! Reveal to Edwin that he is in a special place, able to focus all his attention upon You and not be hindered by other responsibilities. 1 Corinthians 7 Bring him purpose and new hope. Give him insight and wisdom into what You are telling him as we lift him up to You. In Jesus’ Name!
Praise His Name!

January 16, 2022 at 2:57 pmDear Brother Edwin, I love the simplicity and truth of the prayers of fellow Dabbers. I pray this is the day of salvation for you, and that you come to know Christ in the most intimate and personal way. I also pray you find solace in a men’s group during this new season. Finally, I am believing The Lord for your prayer request, and then some! Welcome home. We will love you and support you in your walk with The Lord, and your desire to be impactful.

January 17, 2022 at 9:10 amEdwin, I have felt the same way within my church body before. Hold on till He closes a door or opens a window. Sometimes He has us learn and grow in loneliness, as I’m certain you are aware. Keep your face open to Him and soon He will guide you or bring your answer. “Soon” is a relative word, isn’t it? Like in the final words given to us in the book of Revelations, He says “soon” to our question of “when, Lord”
