Please pray for my daughter and for support for me that the truth will come out.
In the last few months she walks to dad’s when I say to do chores, homework, or no to something she wants. He keeps her although I ask him not to, it’s teaching her to run from responsibility and disrespect me and he says would never turn her away. This Monday morning I said no friends after school and just homework. After school she walked to dads, he calls me with her on speakerphone. She says I’ve hit her multiple times and she doesn’t feel safe with me. Dad adds it’s just like you lied when u turned me into CPS when she was 4 and made up lies about me. (It wasn’t lies but they couldn’t “take a 4 yr olds word”) He said she told her counselor she didn’t feel safe with me but the counselor just wanted to talk about the lie I made up to CPS. I’m so sad and I miss her so much.
I saw a crisis counselor today and she assured me the truth will come out & she knows I don’t hit my daughter. She wrote a report to CPS explaining everything I said and I called CPS half hour later so I could beat them to it if he would call. Had to leave a message. I can’t handle my parenting undermined and I have great friends but no one really understands and I feel alone.
