This time last year my fiancé was arrested in the midst of planning our wedding. Before he met me, he was involved with people who drew him away from God and he made some pretty bad choices. I didn’t know about any of this and as you can imagine, I was very surprised, confused, and hurt when he was arrested. He served our country, obtained a masters degree, and he even volunteered as a firefighter. Now, he is facing a minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum of life. The one awesome thing that came out of this perilous situation is that he received Christ as his Lord and Saviour earlier this year. I have supported him through everything and I continue to do so. Please join me in praying for God to have mercy on him and to heal our brokenness. We seek His will in our lives.
