Fighting extradition

July 2, 2019 at 2:54 amMy husband is in federal detention fighting an extradition order. (He is an American citizen being ordered to face charges in a foreign country.) The claims against him are totally unfounded and we will vigorously prove his innocence in court. Immediately, however, we are praying for his bail request to be granted. Apparently, bail for extradition is nearly impossible, but nothing is impossible in the Lord so we pray that God moves the judge’s decision in our favor.
Despite this being the worst experience of my life, I want to PRAISE God for using this experience to bring us back to Him because prior to this my Husband and I had fallen away from God. I am learning that my life is not my own and that I am not in control. God is the One and Only Almighty. Please pray for me that He will continue to give me the strength and peace to remain faithful to Him.

July 2, 2019 at 9:30 amLord, I thank you for this couple and for your work in their hearts. Lord, we know that there is no situation that is too big for you and that you have the power to move in ways that are beyond our knowledge. I pray for this husband that you would protect him and use this situation to glorify yourself. Let justice be known and fight on their behalf to keep them from all harm.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

July 2, 2019 at 1:12 pmLORD. Thank you for showing your almighty power to be shown here. It has been 2 1/2 months in the making for bail and finally this morning You allowed it to happen. I trust in Your timing, Lord. People told me it was nearly impossible to get bail. That we’re trying hoping on a sliver of chance. But nothing is too big or small for Your love and attention. Bless all those who have been praying for him. Bless all those who have stepped up to be by our side. Bless the judge who made the difficult decision to allow him to come home. I know You have a greater plan for us and I pray that You give us the wisdom and persistance to follow You. All glory to God.

Thank you that she knows that you are God alone. You are already at work in both of them. Use this trial to draw them even closer to you and use it to bring glory and honor to your name. If it be your will, allow them to testify of your goodness. Even now bring such a peace over their souls, hearts and minds. We love you and pray with them in Jesus name Amen!

July 4, 2019 at 5:29 pmHeavenly Father, I thank you that this couple chose to trust our community of faith with this request. I praise you for your gift of grace that reconciled this couple to you. You, Father, are the Lord of all, and you, alone, are the perfect, compassionate and fair Judge of our hearts, minds and motives. We can trust you to be fair and just. We join hands around your holy altar, bringing this request for your grace and mercy in the disposition of this request for bail and the resolution of the legal proceedings. Father, we adore you! We lay the life and future of this son on your altar. We pray that you would shower your blessings on this couple. Above all, we pray that the faith of this couple would continue to grow as they walk side by side in the path you have chosen for them.

July 12, 2019 at 2:51 amFirst, my husband will be home in about a week. Thank you all for your prayers.
Prayer request – Even though we were both raised in the church, we pretty much fell away from God during the years were were dating and the 2 years we have been married. So we never really walked with the Lord together as a couple. When he gets home my prayer request is that God will be our first and foremost and the foundation of our marriage. We plan to pray together and study the Bible together and attend a church together, all of which we’ve never done together before, so I’m a bit anxious. Our hearts are there, but I’m scared that we’re gonna fall short and not follow through as we should because we’ve just never been a couple that worshiped together. Pray for us to remain faithful and to grow as a Godly husband and wife. Thank you.gsimoninPrayers: 5621Requests: 43
July 12, 2019 at 9:35 amYes, Father, we stand in agreement with gracemisunkim’s prayers for a new unity in their marriage as her husband returns home and they figure out how to do life together as a godly couple. Draw them together under Your banner of love. I pray that her husband will take the lead as they listen to the DAB together, as they pray together, as they find a church together. Guide their steps and show them Your will and Your way. ~gail
