For continuing my battle against Addiction

    I just listened to my first Daily Audio Bible and in the end I heard a prayer for a few people battling the same thing as myself ADDICTION. Today I am blessed to say that by the grace and guidance of GOD I have 25 days sober. you will all be in my prayers and I hope I am in yours. My name is Jillian and I am from Suquamish Washington, I pray to stay on this path, to not let temptation pull me away from my Lord and savior again, that I can stay humble and continue to stay in contact with people who support and inspire me. Thank you and God bless!!

    Heavenly Father, I praise you for the encouragement of these words from your daughter, Jillian! We rejoice with her for 25 days of sobriety, and with her dependence on you to walk close by her side each day of this fragile period of healing from the disease of addiction. I intercede for her, and ask you to cover her with a canopy of your love. Apply the blood of Jesus to Jillian’s life, and anoint her with the Holy Spirit for the calling you are placing on her life. Build a hedge of protection around this daughter as she battles the forces of evil that seek to seduce her back into their snares. Protect and equip her with skills as she recovers from her addictions.

    Heavenly Father I thank You for Jillian and the purpose You have for her life. I thank you that she has 25 days sober and I pray that You would help her to put this addiction behind her permanently. May she never look back, only ahead and see the life You have planned for her. May it bring honour to You and may we give You all the glory and praise. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!

    Heavenly Father,

    Thank you for Jilian. I ask that you uphold her and strengthen her as she has purposed to walk with you and so away with addictions . Please keep her from all temptations and deliver her from all evil. In Jesus name I pray

    Precious Lord, we place the life of Jillian on your altar this day, asking that you continue to bless her with sobriety and healing from the underlying issues that contributed to her attraction to substance abuse. Heal Jillian, we pray. Guide her to the path of productivity and strength in her relationship with you.
