Dear Father,

I pray for this family. I pray for the ministry of your Holy Spirit in each individual person’s life. Father, if there have been struggles in the past with identity in you, I pray for a fresh sense of your Spirit and your calling upon this couple’s life. I pray that you will help one of them to run into an old friend to connect them to Christian community… that someone will “stop by” or think of them and suggest a fellowship group. And Father, I pray that fellowship will fan into flame the gift of God upon each person’s life. I pray that you will be the sweetest thing in the life of this family, that the fragrance of your love will go forth from their new home… into the streets… into the neighborhood… that you would bring new people into this couple’s life to receive ministry and healing and a touch from you, dear Father.

Jesus, I pray you will walk beside them each step of the way. Moving someplace new can be scary. I pray you will let them know that you walk with them each step of the way, step by step, and that no prayer or request is beyond your desire to answer. You are a good Dad and you love your children so much. You say that if we, who are evil, can give good gifts to our children… how much more will you, as our heavenly Father, give good gifts to your children who ask! Thank you, Lord, for giving this person the desire to ask such a simple thing as this and to trust you, going forward in faith.

Yes, praying God leads you to the friends like mentioned above. So awesome!! Those kind of people are few and far between, but they are out there. Father, lifting up this prayer request to You and thanking You for answering with amazing friends that are godly and will be life long. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
