Hello DAB,
Please pray for my very close friend. Her father passed away this past weekend after battling cancer for 2 years. Her dad whom I called Uncle Charles loved God. He loved me like he did his daughter. He was a kind and generous man. Please pray for comfort during this time.

I am very sorry on the loss of our brother in Christ Charles. Please find comfort in knowing that the Lord will heal your broken hearts and bind your wounds .The Lord will bless you and comfort you as you mourn , just as he promised in Mathew 5:4
One day we shall see our brother Charles ,The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. … So when this corruptible has put on in corruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory’ ” (1 Corinthians 15:52, 54). At Christ’s return, those who belong to Him will be raised and given life that will never end.
Take comfort in knowing that Brother Charles is no longer in pain . Be of good courage for our Lord has overcome the world.
