My husband and I are recuperating from Pneumonia. Ours wasn’t from surgery but…anyway….
It is very important that your friend have a healthy environment to health now and in the future for further healing.
Questions: Does the friend actually know that the environment is unhealthy? Does the friend understands that she is allowing the generational strongholds to exist? Is the friend a Christ-follower?
Without knowing the particulars…
My prayer will be first that if your friend doesn’t know God and has not confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in her heart that God raised him from the dead, then she will be saved, she will do so. First things first. Romans 10:9
Then I will pray that your friend “…be transformed by the renewing of her mind to prove, the acceptable and perfect will of God…” in her life. Romans 12:2
I don’t know how close you are friends with her but it would be helpful if maybe you can find out if she is her own (Power-Of-Attorney for medical and financial)?
Also, FYI, hospital usually have a Social Work Department that have resources readily available for immediate action in case there are safety issues for your friend. Meaning if in their present living environment, whether it is a apartment or house, they have SAFE access and ability to “cook” or have someone , that includes agencies, prepare in the home or have delivered to the home food, bathe, go to the bathroom and/or clean themselves, can they get medications delivered to their home, etc. By law, your friend has to request to see a social worker unless she is not her own P.O.A. Every state is different, a social worker should be licensed and know the laws for the state especially if they work in a hospital.
I will pray for healing for her physical body, her surroundings and well as her emotional state.
