May 26, 2020 at 7:01 amHello everyone, I’ve recently rededicated my life back to Christ after straying for many years. During those years, I’ve made decisions and done things I’m not proud of. I’ve repented and asked for forgiveness but I keep rethinking everything I’ve done and I’m just broken and sad over it all. Please pray for me and my children, for God’s divine intervention in a situation I’m going through, for wisdom, guidance, protection and provision for us. Thank you all so much!

May 26, 2020 at 7:43 ama teacher, one of your faithful servants of your word, Lord God, has once said, “since the cross cancels out sin, there is no sin that can cancel out the cross. not one.” im so thankful, father, that you’ve put servants here to remind us of the assurance of our salvation. and though we’re believing, we need your help to grow our faith. please continue to send us your counseling voice through your servants. we ask that the Holy Spirit guide us in this truth as we are still grieving for the lost time away from you. let not this time of reflective grief cloud out your truth… THE truth… that we’re righteous through only your son Jesus. thank you father for this prayer request. for having me “say” the things I know to be true. I lift this person to you, in humble solidarity and as a intercessory, because you know how I’ve struggled with this as well. thank you for your love and your grace. in Jesus we pray, Amen.

May 26, 2020 at 8:33 amBrethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

May 26, 2020 at 10:49 amStanding in agreement with these prayers. Lord, as abycass10 looks back, help them fully comprehend Your overwhelming love and grace, AND determine to never do those things again. Then, help them look forward to all that You have for them – blessings upon blessings! We ask for them: wisdom, guidance, protection, and provision. Amen

May 26, 2020 at 11:54 amLord, we will for as long as we live out our lives. Be in awe of your grace, and unmerited favor towards us. How you freely forgive us. And how once you do, you never remember our sins anymore. You cast them into the sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered again. And they are to you, as far away as the east is from the west.
Father help your restored servant to do as you instruct us to do in your Word. Because, everything back there is under the blood. Forgiven, and forgotten.
Thank you Lord for your mercy, and your grace.
In Jesus name!

May 27, 2020 at 11:03 amHi Aby!!! Yay!!!!! You’re back!!!!! God loves you so much! I have 3 weeks. How many weeks do you have? 🤗 so glad you’re here! Did you know David’s mighty men were the debtors, felons, the degenerate? Jesus uses new wine skins. We’re the new wineskins! He came to heal the sick! We’re that! You are perfect for the job description! He called you to love! He loves loving the unloved. We are perfect vessels in His eyes. You’ll make mistakes along the way. Find a group to be accountable to and hold each other up; a recovery group is an easily accessible existing Christian-based group even if it’s at a different church. Also go to church. Cling to him! He’s the source of our sobriety and wellbeing.

May 27, 2020 at 6:37 pmThanks so much everyone for your prayers and encouragement. Please know they are felt and sincerely appreciated. This community has been and continues to be such a blessing to me. Dorothysano, it’s been a couple of months for me, I started going to church but then covid happened and although the church I’ve been going too remains open (very, very small congregation, so social distancing not an issue) I haven’t been attending in person but do watch online. I’m still praying and asking for guidance on whether to join that assembly or look for another, only because I think my tween daughter would need some sort of class/group with kids her age and that is lacking here. There’s basically no one for her to socialize with here? I really do like this church though but I’m also thinking about what would work best in terms of encouragement for a young one, if that makes sense
