I need your Love God I am new to Prayer wall

    This is my first day writing to prayer wall. I truly seek the help of my Lord Jesus Christ and all his children to please teach me how to pray on a daily basis for my marriage my children and my father. I lost my beautiful mother to her battle of colon cancer and my life changed. I am now living with my dad who is blind. It’s been 5 months. I have other siblings who help but I’m the one who is doing the most. It is effecting my personal life. Please help me pray for all. Amen

    Dear DAB friend
    Welcome to the prayer wall . I am very sorry on your loss and pray that the Lord Jesus will heal your heart over the loss of your dear mom. Regarding the help for your dad I suggest that as a family ( you and your siblings)you have dialog on how you each can help to take care of your father that way you don’t get overwhelmed .

    When it comes to prayers the secret to learning how to pray is spending time in fellowship with God this can be through reading the Word, worshipping him seeking guidance of the Holy Spirit.

    As a start use the Lords prayer that Jesus taught us . Then just start speaking with God as you would speak to a dear friend . When you get born again you receive the Holy Spirit so I ask that you tap into the power of the Holy Spirit , as He is a helper and comforter that Christ Jesus left for us .
    I will try to get you a few prayers for you to start praying but in the meantime seek a deeper and intimate relationship with God .
    For your husband, just remember no marriage is perfect so dialogue helps and most important seeking wisdom from God truly can help heal any marriage.

    Amen Sister Shelia – your words in this are very valuable. Amen. My words for this are much fewer.
    The Lord’s Prayer for sure is the starting point.
    Remember at this time of increased challenge don’t rely on your own strength. Rather seek first God in all things and don’t worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6: 33-34). I will be praying for you now. Receive this love through prayer and may our God bless you as you lean on him. In Jesus name.
