Ian in Idaho

    Could you pray that my son, Ian, would come to the Lord? He is the only son of a single mom, went to a Christian school, and had a real heart for the things of the Lord when he was young. But after he moved out, he joined the Navy, and he fell away from all things Christian. He is out of the Navy now and works doing his dream job in Idaho. He’s a good man, ethical, hardworking, smart. He’s a good son as well, but he doesn’t have a relationship with the Lord, and that breaks my heart. I know it is hard for those that are “good” and successful (from a worldly perspective) to see that they need a savior. But Ian does, and this mama deeply desires to see her son come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you, Kim in Maryland

    Dear sister Kim,
    God loved your son Ian even before you did. He sees and He remembers the time Ian’s heart was turned towards Him. Ian is like the prodigal son. And like the prodigal son, you must believe that he too, will have that divine moment of realization that he’s strayed far form his God. Kim, the good LORD hears your prayers, and He will be faithful to work on Ian’s heart until he gets to the place where he yearns to be back in his Father’s house ❣ Father, thank You for hearing this concerned mother’s prayer for her son Ian. And thank You also the Your doing a deep work in Ian’s heart. Thank You for making him aware of the God shaped hole in his heart that can only be filled by You. Abba, draw Ian back to Yourself, back into the Father’s house where he belongs…

    We ask, in the holy and trustworthy Name of JESUS. Amen! 💞
