August 8, 2018 at 6:18 pmDear Heavenly Father,
Thank you Lord, for Sherry. We lift her up to You to find peace and comfort in Your Presence. Together we focus upon You, O Lord, because You are Our Redeemer. We ask You to give her eyes into the kingdom so that she can look past the veil of this life and see vividly into what You have in store for her. Show her how and where You want her to walk. Order her steps O Lord. Give her sweet fulfillment and joy in You. As she steps out O Lord, bring in those who need her touch, dear Jesus. Those You have prepared before the foundation of the world that need just the right word from Sherry. Those who are grieving, or in despair; we ask You Lord to lay them upon our hearts so that we can have the wisdom from the Holy Spirit to walk with You and bless those around us. Enable us to Lift up our eyes and see what the Lord is revealing. Keep us from focusing on the temporary, the pain that may be diminishing our spiritual vision. Allow us to see You dear Jesus, to walk with You and hear Your sweet Voice. We love You Lord.tbrantley4himPrayers: 37Requests: 12

Lord lead Sherry to a home group where she can open her life to others and receive your love. Father her life is valuable she has a purpose give her others to reach out to that she will begin to use the gifts you have given her.

August 8, 2018 at 9:08 pmFather in heaven, I pray you will comfort Sherry. Her life has changed so much. Will you lead her to a place where she can share the love she has to give with those in need. Will you lead her to companions she can share her grief with. May she have a safe place to begin a new walk with you. Give her strength for her job during those times the grief is robbing her energy. May she have the focus she needs. Be glorified in her work. In Jesus name

August 9, 2018 at 3:13 amHi Sherry
I’ll be praying for you! I’m glad you posted. It’s hard sometimes, waiting for God to act and ” life to happen. ”
I’m sorry for the loss of your mom. That creates its own mind of loneliness. Nothing is like the friendship of a mother.
We have a vibrant and very loving and supportive family here. Consider joining DAB friends. It’s a website where people share their faith, their jobs and trialls, insights, photos, jokes…whatever. You will develop friendships and, there are often opportunities to actually meet up.
I love alone, am retired, Brown kids, no car….but I have a blast with my brothers and sisters in DAB Friends. No, it doesn’t take the place of physically getting out with friends…but it sure fills my heart every day.
Love in Christ

That your faith in bringing your prayer request to community be honored and your faith be strengthened. That you would see the door that the Lord opens for you to step into community locally and He would bring those who honor Him into your life to provide friendship. Amen

August 14, 2018 at 4:06 pmDear Sherry, I’m reaching out to you because your words touch me. My dear mother passed away four months ago yesterday. Except for a few years, I’ve always lived with her, and have been her only caregiver the last few months of her life. I’m an only child, nobody is left in the family, I am not married and I have no boyfriend. I have very few friends and, working as a freelance professional, I don’t have any colleagues, either. So I know exactly what you are talking about. I am familiar with the emptiness, the sorrow, the pain, the loneliness, the hole in my heart, home, and life. There are days when all this seems unbearable. When I’d give all I have for a hug, a human touch, a hand holding mine. I know how all that love stored within you wants to gush out and reach someone, but nobody seems to be there to receive it, or want it.
Dear Sherry, God wants it, cherishes it, and will use it to spread it around. He will give you, and me, the chance to touch someone. Because, if we look carefully, there is always someone who needs it as much and more than we do. There are abandoned children, lonely elderly, people grieving and suffering. We can still bless someone, and be blessed by their company in return. I firmly believe it.
Dear Father, I pray You for Sherry, do not allow her to fall into depression and despair, enfold her in Your warm and loving embrace, grant her strength, patience, faith to overcome this dark phase of her life. Grant her eyes to see the need of others, and the courage to reach out. May You bless her and never abandon her. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name I pray.
A big hug, Sherry, I’ll keep praying for you,

October 26, 2018 at 8:20 amOur Father, I pray to You in agreement with Your Mercy that endures forever. Focusing on the GOOD, this moment, the Miricle and Blessing your daughter, my sister in Christ, Sherry, is, this day You have made.
I thank You, Father, for surrounding her with the heavy favor that shields her EVERY MOMENT.
Thank you, Father, for giving her the choice to choose to receive, thus see and focus on, all the GOOD from You that is overflowing inside of her. Father, I know Sherry is the bright light you made, “for everyone” You bring into her path, all “for Your purpose,” made in Your image, Love.
(Believe. Know. Focus Sherry, on what is already yours, the moment you asked Him.)
Father, You are LOVE. Pure. “The Greatest of all is LOVE.” More than we can Ponder, yet we, your children, adopted through the blood of the Lamb of God, are the apple of Your eye, a masterpiece, one of a kind, made by Your hand.
Father, Thank you for lifting Sherry up to focus on what is hers already in front of her, to choose to receive that which our brothers and sisters here in DAB have prayed to You about on her behalf, looking up!!
Father, I ask You that Sherry choose not to focus on the deceiving thoughts of darkness that death and loneliness bring, but to focus on and become abundantly more of the POWER, you Sherry, already are, in HIS eyes.He can not FAIL. He can not LIE. His Word is spoken. He said, ” I will not, will not, will not fail you.” Everything you need my sister is inside of you right now and all around you. Trust Him. Seek Him.
When God was asked what His name is, He said, “I am that I am.”
Sherry, In agreement with what God has spoken, by Faith I have been given, I declare, my sister Christ, with you, this day, in HIS perfect Will, “All is well.” (2King4)
Focus on the Good, the step in front of you, Sherry, already beaming with light, look up, seek Him, Sherry, forward, fully armored, covered by the Blood of the Lamb that saved us all the moment we asked. Focus on the Glory of God given here….

October 26, 2018 at 11:44 amHi Sherry – Probably most people can relate to your loneliness at one time or another. I know I can. Not in quite the same way, but similar. Father help Sherry feel Your presence and comfort, and, help her reach out to people in friendship. There must be someone in her circle of influence who needs a good friend, and one who can spend some time together and give her a hug. Turn her eyes and heart to see who that person is and help Sherry begin a friendship with them.

October 28, 2018 at 4:23 pmHello Sherry – I just went through all the wonderful prayers from the DAB people here. I will add you to my prayers.
I can empathize with you or even sympathize with you. I am in a situation where I am very lonely also. I keep bringing it up to God, asking what he wants me to do, or what my next steps should be . I pour into my church, volunteering, thinking that is the answer. Although I think that is the right thing to do, it doesn’t cure the loneliness. Most things in my church are built around couples and I feel like I am am somewhat of an oddball. I am sure this is a season of my life, as others have indicated.
It is not wrong to seek the kingdom and the perfection of what we will experience when we are with the Lord, but that is not where we are supposed to be an what we are supposed to do for now.
Blessings and prayers for you.
