Fear is absent when the Master is present & the Master is always present but we are not always conscious of His presence. My Mum’s dog, like many well loved dogs, is content, loving, bouncy & always happy to see a new face. However, when her Master is absent & she left for a short time alone, she becomes quiet, downcast, subdued & lays motionless with her chin on the floor.  Mum has popped out today & I was asked to check on Izzie the dog & sure enough, the despondent look had settled in. No amount of doggy pats, kind words, or simply just being their, could lift her countenance. The absence of her Masters love causes Izzie to become overcast. Perhaps she is not convinced that her Master will return & the absence of love, equates to the absence of joy. Fear is knocking at the door of her mind but before the day is out, Izzie will be reunited with her Master & with that she will be overjoyed. The heaviness will shift, her countenance will lift, Izzie’s joy will return & she will be restored in the presence of love & complete acceptance. When the Master walks in the room, fear has to leave.

Yes, I agree with you. I believe the reflection was Holy Spirit inspired because I need to get my joy back but I don’t think I was conscious of that until I was writing & then it began to dawn on me. Later in the afternoon I turned on the radio & it was about joy 😊 How precious when the Father speaks. Yes, a Scripture can bring out multiple lessons from different angles. Thanks for the post.
