John 15:9-10, “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in His love”. At times , obedience comes hard for us. Our minds tell us to do differently from what we really know is right. We get overshadowed by our own desires. We find we allow circumstances and situations to gain an upper hand in our thinking. Living this way sets us apart from His grace and mercy. It takes a refreshment of our spirit, and an alignment with His Spirit to keep the focus on who and what we are called to be in Him. Recognizing and dealing with our inward enemies will help us deal with the outward enemy. If we do not conquer the inward enemy, the outward enemy will lead us further and further away from God, further from the life He wants for us. Discipline your day and take time to realize who you are, what you are and what God wants you to be. God’s power is mighty to the pulling down of strongholds in our lives. The Spirit of God wants each of you to capture any strongholds that hold you captive and strengthen the stronghold of the Holy Spirit in you. It is up to us to allow Him to do this. Mighty is our God Jehovah. Obey Him in your walk today and receive the mercy and grace He affords to you. Psalm 9:9 says THE LORD WILL BE A STRONGHOLD FOR THE OPPRESSED, A STRONGHOLD IN TIMES OF TROUBLE. Just think about it for your day. Pray about it and live by P3:5-6!
