Laid off, Job problems

    Hi, fam. Lost my job months ago and it’s very hard to get the motivation and energy to be diligent enough to keep applying to jobs. Of course this affects my wife and she’s going nuts. She thinks it’s depression but i refuse to look at this from a negative perspective.

    I love Jesus and trust him yet I don’t know exactly how to engage his power in my situation, or what I’m trying doesn’t work. Seems like a rather universal challenge, no?

    Father, as this person seeks You and trusts You I ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit and motivate them to be diligent in seeking where they can work to use their gifts and earn a good income. Let them do it for Your glory. Thank You Lord! In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

    Father in heaven, I pray you will give this couple renewed hope. Lead his job seeking efforts in the right direction. May he also have times of rest and hearing from You. Help him to use this time wisely. Only you know the plans you have for this season of His life. Guard him from depression or any wasted effort. Show him your way thru this. In Jesus name
