December 28, 2016 at 6:53 pmIn my first blessed DAB year and thought this is easier than a call !
After months of hurtful conversations and even though i have attempted to reconcile differences , i have just given notice to my church.
I have been bullied by women, my pastor has been controlling (he has apologised for his behaviour) and it has sent me back into depression that i am currently trying to fight my way out of.
I suffer from PTSD because of 18 years of domestic abuse and violence, I am now three years free of that environment by Gods Grace and some wonderful people, yet the triggers of the last few months have taken toll on me.
I’m reaching out to you for prayer because i need to know where i go now, how can i receive fellowship and a break though with the depression and loneliness.
Not the biggest thing but it’s hard – i have great friends who pray constantly but i’m needed somewhat of a breakthough – thank you xSheilaTPrayers: 2920Requests: 24
December 28, 2016 at 8:10 pmKaren,
The Lord Jesus loves you so much!! I want you to receive his warmth and his embrace right now even as you go through persecution.
Note the following:
1. Fellow ” Christians ” can bully you.. see I put that in Quotes … These are not a true representation of Christ.
2. You have done the right thing by separating yourself ( sheep) from the goats.
3.The Lord has heard your cry and seen your tears
4.Do not accept the LIES of the enemy that bring you condemnation that results into depression
5.You asked where can I go now? Here is your answer – Look for a church that truly seeks God, a church that does NOT deny the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
6. Start praising God daily for the breakthrough that you so desperately need.
7. Speak life over your situation. Call yourself a VICTOR in Christ and not a LOOSER .Now by the authority given to me in the name of Jesus ! I come against the spirit of depression that has been dragging you over the years!!
I claim your freedom in Jesus name! May you be released into God’s abundance and may your life be completely free from any bondage in Jesus name. Receive God’s Embrace. In Jesus name.

December 29, 2016 at 10:40 pmThank you – for prayers
Im in the U.K. and what’s known as the south west M4 corridor, and I do have a colleague who has offered to take me to their church. My issue now is Trust, finding a church where I can be safe and have a few trusted people who can pray with me. But actually trusting God that this is the right decision and He will provide what I need… that’s the harder partrezpuppiPrayers: 2Requests: 0
December 30, 2016 at 3:11 pmIt takes courage to walk away from the chains that bind us, especially when it is a marriage. I am praying for a renewing of your mind and a spirit of discernment. People will always disappoint, even with the best of intentions. God’s opinion is all that matters here. Be mindful of who you cast your pearls to. Let God speak His identity over you and bring everything to Him. Trust God to lead you if you need to leave the church you are in. It can be difficult to remain in the painful place while we wait on The Lord. I pray you do not rush out ahead of Him and look to man for the answers that only God has. I too have been in abusive relationships so I know the difficulties in learning to trust that God really does not only hear me, He longs to heal me. I pray you lean hard on your lover who is Jesus, and He will support you on every leaning side. I am reminded that all is well with my soul.

January 7, 2017 at 3:53 pmDear Karen…I had joined the DAB the day I responded to your post as Rezpuppi. I decided to use my real name …so I opened another account. I am Connie and you were my first post. I am blessed to hear you did not feel criticized by my response. It is great to hear that you are feeling encouraged. You lifted my spirits and I thank you! I will keep you in my prayers.

January 7, 2017 at 6:44 pmI am so sorry my dear for all you have been through. Lifting you up in prayer. Lord, I ask in your mighty name, that you bring God filled friendships to Karen. People who will not tear her down, but lift her up. We all are flawed and nothing without you. Lord, you comfort your children and care about every issue. Bless Karen with a peace in you. No matter what, you never let us down and you know everything about us. You know the good and the bad and we thank you for your unconditional Iove. Let your light illuminate her spirit and may she rest in you, knowing full well, you have this all under control, in Jesus name. ??
