Longing for a child

    Hi DAB family, my husband and I are almost about to celebrate four years of marriage, and for three of them we’ve been trying to have a child. We have been told there is no chance but we know our Lord is the Lord of life. Please pray that God will bless us with a child or that we will be granted peace in childlessness. Thank you!     Amen, Father in heaven, Hear the heart’s cry of this dear couple who desire to have children. Heal their bodies, minds and spirits. Remove any obstacle. Couples who desire to raise Christian children are a blessing to our nation. I pray You will bless them with this miracle. In Jesus name

    Almighty God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, I pray this couple are held and surrounded by your love at this time of year and that you meet all their points of need in their hearts and bodies. In Christ’s name amen

    Heavenly Father, we praise you as the Lord and Giver of life. We honor you as the Lord and Giver of life. We join this couple in asking for a child or children to be in their family. We plead with you to give this couple wisdom and counsel about this issue of infertility. We pray for them to be able to trust in you with all their hearts and to forego the need to understand. We pray against the spirit of negativity and self condemnation, and ask that you would hear their hearts and give them the peace from you that surpasses all understanding. Let their entire future and the issue of the size of their family be set before you on the altar of prayer. I pray that you would look upon their hearts, and grant them a calm assurance that you are in control of all of these issues. Father, cause their faith to flourish as the result of their deepening dependence on you for all their needs.

    Do not accept peace in childlessness. Do not speak those words. God is able. It NEVER matters what doctors say. They are not God. Rest in him. When you seek him and lift him before your wants (this is hard-I know) THEN you will receive all of your hearts desire, running over, flowing into your children and children’s children for generations to come. This is your heritage.

    I pray that you would be granted the child you so desire. I know from experience that God loves to answer prayers for new life. I would also suggest that you ask the Lord to bring to mind another couple you know that are also longing for a child and pray for them too. God showed me who to pray for when I was longing for a child myself, and both of us were blessed with the gift of life shortly after. X

    me and my wife has been married for 8years and long for a child, we know children are a blessing from God, but cant help to feal some sort of ,we are owed this, especially when you look around the world and see so many who seem to have litters of children and do not want them , my wife struggles daily with this and I can say its gotten better we are looking into foster care, there are so many beautiful children out there with no home or parents, and I feel like the lord makes some childless to care for them , I know the wonders of what would our child look like ,but that’s the devil .maybe your calling is for foster care or adoption, I believe it is for us ,who is to take care of the parentless children, if we had our own what burden would have for them, pray to the lord and he will answer, remember our thoughts are not like his , he may have other plans ,my heart goes out to you and your husband

    Lord, we place our sister, ilana, and her husband’s desire on Your throne asking for Your perfect will for them. We know that You can do anything! You have done so in my life many times. We pray that they will continue to seek You, resting in Your loving care, blessing everyone You bring across their path. Make their way clear and holy. ~gail
