June 7, 2019 at 12:54 amDear friends in Jesus, I would like to ask if you would please pray for me. I suffer from a very severe depression every single day. My marriage is on the rocks and my job isn’t going well, and I have been abusing my pain meds (for my back) by using them to help me to feel better due to this depression. But even that no longer works. I feel so guilty, that God may have given up on me. And I can’t find my way out. I think about suicide all day long, but I don’t want to hurt the people I would leave behind. It is like a shroud that covers me all day. And antidepressants have failed to make a dent in it. I have lost all interest in everything. And at this point, I feel like I just would rather go home to be with my Lord. I realize that this doesn’t sound too Christian-like, but this depression has taken over my entire being, physically, mentally, and even spiritually I think. I do love the Lord. I even used to be a Sunday school teacher. But this state of mind has just destroyed my ability to enjoy anything. I don’t usually reach out to anybody, but I am in such a bad way that I feel the need to reach out to my Daily Audio Bible family. Would you please pray for me to be healed of this depression and my addiction to my pain meds? I really don’t know what else to say. But it would mean very much to me if I knew that all you prayer warriors were behind me, praying that God would reach down and touch me and lift this heavy burden of depression off of me. I pray that you will. And I thank you in advance. I love you all in Jesus. And I can’t wait until we all are celebrating in heaven together. Thank you my friends, Brent

June 7, 2019 at 7:55 amBrent, I pray for His loving true light to begin to shine in the darkness of your soul. May you live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. There is deliverance from depression in Jesus Christ. My husband, a pastor went through this in college for a few years, to the point of suicide. It may be a process of walking out of it – part of it is having others pray for you – he went daily to the office of an older saint at the college who prayed for him reminding him of God’s love and words. Ps. 42 is a prayer to pray to break off the lies of the enemy. “Hope in God”… Philippians 4 is important – give thanks for everything you can think of and think on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report…meditate on these things. Speak God’s words aloud. Write down 5 things you are thankful for daily. There are many good sites on youtube – look for “Scriptures on healing, peace, ” etc. until you find readings that speak to your heart. God is for you, He wants you to have an abundant life full of peace and joy. Ask Him for Holy Spirit to speak loudly words of life to your heart to replace the lies of the enemy. Jesus died to give you life and set you free from the negative effects of sin. May He replace anything you are addicted to with His Holy Spirit of Joy. May you think all day long of living and not dying. Call and seek out pastors, counselors or suicide hotlines – they are there to help you. You can send an email to my husband if you want to connect with him for prayer:

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jer. 29:12 You are loved, so much He gave His life for YOU. Mrs.PgsimoninPrayers: 5621Requests: 43
June 7, 2019 at 10:03 amO Lord, we bring our brother, Brent, before You today. You know all the struggles that he is battling, the depression, the addiction to pain meds. We are so grateful that he has reached out to us, the Body of Christ through the DAB Prayer Wall! This shows how very much he wants to live, no matter how bad he feels. Help him also reach out to his doctor, a suicide hotline, his medical provider’s mental health department, to Pastor Mike mentioned above – all of these and any other places. He needs as much support as possible. We pray against this oppression of depression. Be gone from Brent’s life! You have no victory over him as he belongs to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Bless him, encourage him, give him hope.

June 7, 2019 at 5:12 pmHeavenly Father, we stand before you on behalf of Brent. We pray that you would spare his life and not allow him to succumb to the enticement of suicide, the ultimate weapon of Satan to defeat the walk of your children. Father, I take the bold step of asking that you give Brent the courage to ask for help from medical professionals with the same level of humble transparency as he demonstrated in his prayer request. Father, I pray that you give him the supernatural humility necessary to ask for help. I pray you would guide him in these next steps so that the healing of his body and mind from the enslavement of addiction can begin. Father, have mercy on this child who longs to serve you and lead his family. I pray that you will prepare the hearts and minds of his family that they will support him as he moves through recovery from this addiction. I pray that you will silence the demonic voices of shame and condemnation that are whispering in the ears of this man and his family and colleagues. Precious Father, I pray in the mighty name of Jesus and because of his precious blood, that you would take up battle against the Satanic forces of addiction and suicide that have taken hold in this man. I pray that you would quickly defeat Satan and his legions of torment by the might and power of Jesus Christ, at whose name they must flee. I thank you, Father, for the privilege of standing before you on behalf of Brent. I pray that you would raise up armies of prayer warriors who will continue to call out his name in prayer and intercession so that he is supported during his recovery. Heal our brother, Lord, and restore his health so that he can serve you robustly as he is healed.

June 17, 2019 at 12:44 pmBrent I am so sorry, that is a lot to take it and a lot to deal with all at once, let alone one item! Father Lord I pray your protection over Brent. That you would comfort him, guide him and give him the resources, people and opportunities to be healed and guide him closer to you. Grant him the peace to get through each day and day by day remove his afflictions, codify him and his wife back to you as they were when they first started. Put a Jeremiah 29:11 covering over his life. in Jesus name, Amen.
