I just heard a message on the radio – to be honest I’m not sure what the scriptures were but I’m taking the theme of the message, for me & my household to build & restore. God’s heart is to forgive & restore. My step Dad would say, all truth is parallel. JESUS came to seek & to save the lost. In the the natural He was a carpenter. What do carpenters do? They build & restore. They shape wood & refine. Jesus would have been an excellent carpenter & a carpenter can restore furniture back to it’s original image & purpose. It goes without saying that the resurrected Jesus is still in the business of building & restoring. Judgement day will come but today is the day of salvation. And when God convicts, we repent, we confess, we get back up again & God forgives, cleanses & renews. Praise You Lord Jesus for Your salvation. Amen.
