February 22, 2021 at 4:42 pmEver since I became a Christian 3 years ago, my mental health has been horrible. I always feel guilty and can never figure out what I’m doing wrong. I constantly obsess over whether or not I’m really saved, to the point where any time I hear a slightly convicting sermon I immediately go into a panic thinking I’m a false convert. Any time I sin, I worry that I might be backsliding and falling away from the faith. I avoid prayer and reading Scripture because it makes me feel guilty, but then of course I feel even more guilty for not spending time with God! On top of all this, I sometimes have these horrible thoughts pop into my head, things that I don’t even want to describe here. They’re usually sexual, violent, or blasphemous. They just randomly pop into my head and then I panic because I’m scared that I committed a horrible sin by thinking that.
Pray that my therapist can help me figure out what’s causing all of this. I’ve been told that many of my symptoms sound like a religious form of OCD. But I’m scared to ask my therapist for a diagnosis because I’m ashamed to talk about the bad thoughts, and I’m scared that he’ll have me put in a mental hospital or something.

February 23, 2021 at 1:14 amFather Yahuah (YHWH), our Creator help us return to you and overcome sin in our lives. For in six days you created heaven and earth and on the 7th day you rested. That is why you set apart the 7th day and called it Holy. We now to can enter into your Shalom pattern to free us from striving and trying far to hard. Father when will we humble ourselves? Father Yahuah the Messiah when tempted by evil desires refused to give in and said worship Yahuah the Creator and serve him only. Have we forgotten and brought pagan gods into our worship? Father your Messiah conquered the grave and became firstborn from death. Open the gates and let the King of Glory shine in. We serve a risen Lord, why would we want to do anything second class? Once we were foreigners and aliens but like orphans we have been adopted in. May Yahuah bless you and keep you. May he make his face shine upon you and restore you to his Shalom. Take care of yourself dear one. From that love be kind to others and even those who have wronged you. Forgive them, give room to the King of Glory and his plan for your life.

February 23, 2021 at 7:09 amI’m so glad you found the Daily Audio Bible. We all need God’s Word, Truth in our lives. The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (not falling for the devil’s lies he is whispering)
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth (the Word of God), and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (Christ’s righteousness is your righteousness before God. He sees Christ covering you)
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (Christ’s death is your peace with God)
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith (pray the promises in God’s Word. He does not lie), wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
God is able to renew your mind (stay in the Word). 2 Timothy 2 God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Write it out, read it out loud to the devil as often as he lies to you.
Find God’s promises. Write them down. Say them out loud to the devil when he sneaks a lie in.
Their is a battle going on. Be strong in the Lord. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.goingupsoonPrayers: 20097Requests: 1132
February 23, 2021 at 1:55 pmKyleeb,
The enemy is fighting you through fear, and intimidation. He is a thief, and a lier, there is no truth in him. If you have confessed Christ as your Savior, the “Greater One” dwells in you. It is imperative that we come to know and understand who we are, and what belongs to us through time spent in prayer, and in God’s Holy Word. Praying that you get a revelation of this truth. You are not going to lose your mind, that is a lie out of the pit of hell.
The Bible says to humble ourselves by submitting to God, (and His Holy Word) then resist the devil and he will flee form us. (Ja. 4:7) You are to be quite frank, allowing the enemy to keep you from the truth that will make you free. Stop believing his lies, and grab ahold of God’s promises. It’s trough a working knowledge of God’s Word, that we are able to rise above the deceitful falsehoods, and misleading lies of our adversary. Stop letting fear rule your life. God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7).
You are a Kings kid, royalty. Your name is written in heaven. Your an heir of God, and joint heirs with Christ. Everything that belongs to Him, also belongs to you.If God be for you, who can be against you.
In Jesus name. Amen! 💓 -
