Mid-Life Crisis

    My dear God – Today I find myself going through a divorce I didn’t want, the loss of a job and kids who don’t talk with their father. My fears of being alone, of financial insecurity, of being abandoned by those I love the most are at my doorstep. Today I give to you my bitterness, my anger, my fears as Lord I don’t want to be a bitter man, I want to live in hope, kindness and Love. I so long to be that good husband, friend, dad, son and brother. My dear God, please be more present in my life today, I stand watch for you my Lord. Through Christ Jesus I pray. Amen

    Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the heart of this man, your child. You know how lonely he feels and I pray that you remind him constantly of your presence and unfailing love. May you restore his marriage if you see fit or give him the strength to let go and let God. May he act on pursuing his children when he feels lead and prepare him for any rejection he may face, but remind him that by pursuing them like you pursue your children is never in vain. May you give him your eyes to see. May he reach out and serve others when he has the urge to sit around and pity himself because if we’re honest it’s so much easier for us to do. Please heal his heart and use this period of time in his journey for your glory. Thank you for comforting him today and the many days and weeks and months ahead. In Jesus mighty and precious name I pray. Amen 🙏

    Lifting up our brother, Ernest, to You, Lord. May today he feel Your presence and in doing so, be at peace. Give him some joy today, however small. And Father we pray that You give him hope for his and his family’s future. If there is some change You desire in him, show him that and help him be humble and obedient to You.

    Amen Dear Lord please be this mans all in all. As life begins challenging times please bring victory to his life. Please show him the way. In the loving name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray.
