My 16 year old son

    Hello, Today my heart is broken because my 16 year old son continues to get bullied over and over every day. His so called friends are awful to him. The worst part is that they are nice one minute and cruel the next. They mock him, insult him and treat him with disrespect especially at lunch time in the high school cafeteria. He is a kind, loyal friend and is unsure how to handle the situation. He fears rejection. So, I am asking God to protect him, give him wisdom, and bring him 3 loyal, godly friends just like Daniel of the Bible. He is very black and white and this doesn’t always help in the area of friendships but he has a heart of gold and loves justice. Pray that he would grow in his confidence in the Lord and help him to forgive those who have wounded him so deeply. Pray also for me, because it is easy for a mother to hold grudges and this is not what I want to do. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

    My daughter also used to get bullied around and it was getting out of control.so I will tell you what my husband and I did ; this may not apply to you but I pray that God gives you the wisdom on your sons issue.
    1. We made it a point to go to the parents of the girl that was bullying our daughter and talked to them like decent people. The point here was to make it clear that in society we need each other, we made it clear that one day who knows, these kids will be grown and it will be shameful if they have to work together having not settled their differences as kids.

    2. Next we brought God into the picture after having been able to speak on human terms. We asked both my daughter and the bully, do you think what is going on between the 2 of you makes God Happy or sad? (off course you know the answer 🙂

    3. We made the 2 shake hands , and even hug and the girl’s dad gave my husband his # and vice versa- to be on the alert and notify him in case his daughter bullied ours

    4. We had to report to the principle so that it can be on record just in case the incidence occurred again.

    Truth be told, the 2 are now friends! No more bullying. so I say to your son do not fear rejection ; God has a way in which he can soften the HARDEST hearts. Next you must learn to forgive quickly. ( It may be hard but please ask God to help you in this area) ;

    we as human beings like to receive mercy but it can be hard for us to show the same to others, just remember as the bible says , Mathew 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours. ( it is clear and nothing in between so I pray that you find it in your heart to Let go and Let God, He will help you to forgive your offenders)

    Praying for your son and all the kids around this world that are in this situation. Praying that God protects these kids and praying that the bullies open their eyes and hearts to Jesus. Praying for the children that witness these attacks to be given the strength and courage to step in and defend the helpless.

    Pray in the spirit ..if you don’t have the Holy Spirit ask God to give it to you. Our battles and most if not all of our children’s battles are not against flesh and blood (people) they are against demonic forces and we have the power in Christ to go against them in prayer.
    It doesn’t have to be hard. It just takes a lot of prayer and a lot of discernment and a lot of love.
    The holy spirit can lead us and guide us and alert us when something’s wrong . It can forewarn us and it can certainly shutdown and silence every enemy and make every devil in hell bow down to his holy name.

    Yes, yes and yes! Every demonic force must submit and bow down to the name above all names…Jesus. Father I bring this young man before You in Your name and I ask that You guide him and lead him and give him sound judgement in his situation. I cast out in the name of Jesus all demonic forces and call in Your angels of Psalm 91. Father we love You and thank You that You bend down and hear our cries.

    I am praying that this experience brings your son into a better understanding of God. May God give you grace and wisdom to walk through this experience with your son, and pour faith into him. I pray for your broken hear that feels powerless and overwhelmed. May the peace of God assure you that you are exactly where you should be, equipped with everything you need to minister to your son. I pray that everyone involved be covered by the blood of Jesus.

    I pray for the bullies. I pray for their fear, frustration and hurt that has filled and overflowed from their hearts. I pray for peace and stability in their homes. I lift up their brokeness and their hurt that has turned into anger. I pray that their family’s ills and illnesses be healed in the name of Jesus. I am believing God for peace, love, conviction , and kindness.

    Amen to your Prayer, Patricia. I am standing in agreement with you in praying for this young man. I experienced this with my grandson.
