Lord, I lift up this grieving father to you, as well as this child. May you provide a peace that surpasses all understanding. May you provide a comfort that touches the deepest part of him, so that he doesn’t turn to alcohol. Give them both support, give them both encouragement that only your Holy Spirit can provide. I pray all this is Jesus Christ powerful and holy name, Amen!

Amen, Lord. Turn this dad around. I pray he may know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and may lead his family in righteousness. Remove every trace of desire for alcohol or drowning his pain in substance abuse. Bless him with a heart of renewed love for his family. I pray of Isabella to keep growing in the love of the Lord. May she have wisdom from You, and joy from You, and peace from You knowing you are in control, sovereign, over the entire universe in all its details. Yes even this death, as painful as death is to us, was in God’s plan for that person’s life. He numbers our days. They are like a hand width to him. He loves us immensely and provides for our eternal redemption from the power of sin. Walking with him we have victory over sin and avoid the terrible consequences of sin. Be glorified in this family.
