May 10, 2018 at 12:08 pmToday I need prayers for strength and peace. My daughter Melissa has struggled for many years with heroin. She was recently released from prison where she got clean but relapsed in April. She was able to pull herself together and get a job. However, today is her birthday and I cannot reach her. She is the mom of 2 small children who are living with the dads parents. Sadly they will not let me see them. Right now I feel heartbroken ,

May 10, 2018 at 1:12 pmI’m so sorry to hear about this. I’m so sorry your heart is broken and hurting. I’m sorry you’re going through this with your daughter and not able to see your grandchildren. It is heartbreaking. I pray that our God of all peace will give you peace as You seek Him and rest in Him. He knows how you feel and He cares. He loves you so! Please let that encourage you. Please let Him comfort you. He is our loving Father. He sees your tears and all your pain. He is with you. I’m sure you just want all the mess to be fixed and all the pain to end. I will pray.
Father, my heart hurts for this Mom and Grandma’s situation. I’m happy to lift her up to You, knowing You care and that You will act on her behalf. I ask that You protect her daughter. Give her wisdom and let her run from evil. Let her look to You for her strength and power. Direct her to call her Mom. Let her be well. Have mercy on her. Holy Spirit fill her and lead her…let her follow You. And for this hurting Mom. I ask that You would comfort her. Fill her with Your peace and love. Assure her that You are for her and she can trust in You completely. Your plans for her are good. You are with her and will never leave. Let that lift her up. Let her give her pain, hopes and dreams to You and then trust You and rest in You. Father, I ask that You would let her hear from her grandchildren. Let them call. Put it on the heart’s of the other grandparents to be merciful, gracious and kind. You can do that. I pray that her relationship with them will be restored and she will be able to enjoy them and be part of their lives. You can make that happen. I’m asking and believing. I ask that You set her daughter’s feet on a firm foundation- Jesus. You can do it. I ask for a repentant heart and a soft heart surrendered to You and committed to following You into the good plans You have for her. I lift this whole family up to You. Bring healing. Do miracles. Let them all see Your mighty Hand. Let them praise You and worship You. I praise You for Who You are and all You do. Your grace is enough. I will be thankful and not complain. You are good. That is enough for me. I pray all this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Just this morning I thought of my family member who must be feeling really sad as Mother’s Day draws near. She lost her son to alcohol, her daughter in law to alcohol and her granddaughter was taken by other family members so that she could not see her or talk to her. Then her parents recently died. So sad. I am praying for her. Father, comfort her. Let her know You care and understand. Bring healing to her hurting heart. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Give her Your peace and joy. Show her all the reasons she has to praise You and rejoice in You. Thank You Lord. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Again, I’m so sorry about what you’ve been through and are going through, but I encourage you to offer it all to God and trust Him no matter what. He loves you so!!! He is good. Put all Your faith and hope in Him and trust Him to provide all you need and bless you with much more. I also encourage you to reach out to others who are brokenhearted or in turmoil. God will use you to encourage them and you will be encouraged through it. I know it never sounds like it would be a good time, but God uses us at those times when we walk with Him by faith.
Happy Mother’s Day! I am believing that God is at work and your blessings are on the way. A big hug to you, Mama. You keep your eyes on Jesus. XO

Dear Lord Jesus,
Please help our sister, be her strength at this time. Please help her daughter see the evil that is near and understand it’s aim. Your name is a light that the darkness will never overcome; Lord break through this evil like the sun dawning after night. Help her feel hopeful not hope
Less, able and not weak. In control and not powerless. Let there be a day when she would see you standing with your arms set out for her. May your hand of protection be there for her until that day comes. AmenleonardtisaacPrayers: 2Requests: 4

Please Lord reveal your power to Carol in an amazing way, bringing healing and deliverance to her daughter, unity to her family, grace to pray and obey your guidance, and unwavering peace until you give her the victory you promised. (Rom 8:37) In the name above all names Jesus Christ, Amen.

I lift Carol to your Throne of Mercy asking that you ease her worry and heartache. I also beg that you soften the hearts of the people caring for her grandchildren and allow her to visit with them.
Also, Mighty God of Miracles, I ask that you free Melissa of her addiction. Please bring her the help she needs and the will to save herself.
For Thine is The Kingdom, Power and Glory
Please, hear and answer my prayer.
Amen

May 11, 2018 at 8:28 amOh Heavenly gracious and wonderful Father in Heaven…please release Melissa from the grips of satan’s drug infested poison that is destroying the world we live in today. Renew her mind with the peace of Jesus who has won the victory over death and satan’ s plague of drugs. Help us all to pray and be mindful of the tricks and deceit that may cause others to fall in this trap. We thank you Lord for bringing Melissa out prison and setting her free…in Jesus Mighty and Precious Name we pray…Amen!
