My son and daughter believe in God but are not teaching their own children about him. They all know that we love God, but we don’t see them often. I don’t know how to pray for them anymore so need your help in prayer. Thank you. NanasparrowPrayers: 1928Requests: 3

Father in heaven, It is really distressing to see parents abrogating their responsibility to raise their own children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. I pray these parents will come to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, especially now at Christmas. May the nativity story open their hearts again to the wonder of the Creator of all that exists being born as a babe, coming as man to men to save them from their sins. The greatest gift ever given, that indescribable gift, was Your gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, Your Son. All we have to do is receive it from You. “Love was born at Christmas time” the song says. Opportunities abound at Christmas for teaching children about You. So, Lord, you see why Nana is sad. She is almost speechless at the thought of what her precious grandbabies are missing. But, You Lord are greater than the obstacles. We are trusting You to nudge these precious ones to look, and wonder and ask questions about this special time of year. Send your messenger to invite them to church. Put the message in the mouths of their Christian friends that Jesus Christ is born. Bless them with tender understanding hearts to receive the truth. In the midst of all the glitz, there are still glimmers of Your truth. I pray this whole family may grow in the love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust you completely. We praise you for your amazing love and grace. May your love be spread over all this nation. May the darkness be pushed back. In Jesus namefelixculpa723Prayers: 2063Requests: 7

Heavenly Father, I confess that this is a time when our faith is stretched because we are limited by what we see in the present. What prayers on behalf of these grandchildren would please you? We know these grandchildren are yours and not ours. Father, forgive us for our weak faith and our unbelief. Father, we plead with you for the souls of these grandchildren. Keep us mindful and attuned to you, faithful so that we will intercede when their souls hang in the balance. We beg in Jesus ‘ name that you will give us the words to speak when these children are in our presence. We plead that nothing we would say or do would influence them to deny or fall away from faith in you. We know, Lord, that the volume and abundance of our prayers creates a beautiful sound in heaven, and we know you carefully treasure our thoughts and prayers for our future generations. Please forgive us when we do not see your hand at work in their lives. Strengthen our faith in things we do not see, but things we know are possessed within your hand of blessing.pattysyellowbusPrayers: 2090Requests: 15

Abba, Father! Thank You for Nana. Thank You for her heart that looks to You for the souls of her grandchildren. Lord, we ask that these dear parents fall in love with You and the joy that they sense in Your Presence spills over to their children. We know that our prayers, O Lord, avail much as we seek Your Face especially when we are dealing with eternal matters. I lift up the prayers of Nana, O Lord, as my own because she stands as a “Daniel” to this generation: interceding for those who have not truly grasped what it means to follow You. Thank You Lord, for Nana, for her family and for this community who will lift up these precious ones to know You and follow. In Jesus Name.kolan271Prayers: 12Requests: 1

Dear Jesus, please remember the fervent prayers of grandparents who long to see their grandchildren having a relationship with you. I pray that God will remember their grandparents and their godly lives and turn to you soon. I believe the prayer of a righteous person brings great results. Please be encouraged, God is still in control. Amenbmkpdk84Prayers: 17Requests: 11

I pray for your children to see Gods Glory, teach their Little ones of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. May there be that Special something that triggers them to look, hear, see, smell, touch the Grace and Beauty of God and push them forward to help their loved ones to know Our God. I pray the same for our Grandchildren. Amen.gsimoninPrayers: 5007Requests: 33

United we stand in praying for these parents and their children. May this Christmas season be the spark that begins the conversation and the proper teaching of these little ones. Stir up a fire in the hearts and minds of the parents, that their hearts would overflow with Your love such that they cannot keep it in and will be compelled to praise and worship You with their children. Perhaps the beginning will be a question from their child about what Christmas is all about. Perhaps the beginning with be a book with the story of Christmas given by the grandparents.
Lord, we pray for this generation who are responsible for training the next generation in knowing and serving You. Guide them. Draw them to Yourself. Make their hearts soft towards You.
Bless Nana for her loving concern of her young adults and her grandchildren. We pray, Lord, that her grandchildren, and our grandchildren, will come to KNOW, LOVE & SERVE You alone. Raise them up as godly men and women for the days to come. May they be the next generation who give You honor and glory. Raise them up to be godly Christian leaders for our country and our world.
Nana – We live a distance from our grandchildren so we use an app called “MarcoPolo” where we can record a short video. These we send to our son and daughter in law to show the kiddos. They in turn record videos for us. It fills in the gaps. Keep praying for them!
Our 5 year old grandson was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 2 1/2 years ago. He recently started kindergarten at the public school. His teacher reported this story to our daughter in law: C gathered some kids around him to tell them this story: that Jesus loves him, and he loves Jesus. And one day Jesus will return. When He does, He will touch C’s body and heal him of the diabetes.
May your grandchildren feel so close to the Lord that they will have their own faith story to tell. Blessings, gail
