January 22, 2017 at 11:52 pmHello DAB Family. Please join me in praying for my husband Tony. We relocated from WA to CO three years ago for my work. He devotes much of his time to helping me (I use a wheelchair) and he is relatively isolated. He is lonely and has lost 3 people who mattered greatly to him since mid December and I see him hurting and trying to minimize it. I became a follower of Christ in the Summer of 2013 and has been growing in faith and and knowledge of the Word ( in no small part because of the DAB aof this wonderful community ). He doesn’t not share my faith. Rather than criticize him or badger him, I just pray and pray that God will help me be a better wife (after 16 years there have sure been times that I have fallen woefully and disappointingly short.) and an example of how God changes hearts in amazing ways). Without that belief in Jesus the loss of a family member and 2 close friends hurts differently. Please pray that Tony will come to know Jesus, and that he will feel his His comfort and peace in this season of loss. Thank you for your prayers and fellowship. I am grateful there is a place for all of us around the global campfire.

January 23, 2017 at 1:16 pmDear Sister in Christ,
Praise God that He hears us anytime we call. God touches many unbelievers through their spouses actions more than their words. 1 Peter 3:1 and 1 Cor 7:13-16 ;
The battle of getting our spouses to Christ can be won on our knees. So my sister I encourage you to keep asking God to mold you everyday so that your husband may see less of you and more of Christ. Keep praying over him and no matter how difficult it may seem know that you are planting a seed and one day it will sprout.
Know that God works in mysterious ways and His desire is that none of us should perish 2 Peter 3:9
May God comfort him , and may God put a hunger in your husband’s heart so that he (your husband) may be drawn to HIM.
Amen
