Hi Terri. Happy to stand in prayer with you concerning Josh. God answers prayer! My parents pray when I tell them challenges I have with my son and sure enough, the prayers are answered- sometimes it’s SO fast!! I love it!! My son has been leaning towards a bad attitude about school saying it’s a waste of time, dumb, boring, etc. but by the grace of God his mind gets renewed and he does his schoolwork and shows that he cares. I praise God and am believing the same for Josh. Do not check out…I know the feeling- it’s the enemy trying to deceive you. Don’t fall for it. You follow God and be the best Mom you can be by His power and in His strength. He provides. He’ll provide for You and for Josh. Father, let Josh hear Your voice and trust You so that he obeys. Give him a soft heart. Let him repent and walk by Your Spirit. Holy Spirit fill him and his family. Let them see how awesome and mighty You are in their lives and share it with others! Encourage Josh and his Mom. Give her the words to say and keep her mouth guarded from what she shouldn’t. You love them both SO much! Thank You for leading Teri to DAB! Today when I was listening to DAB and my kids climbed into bed with me…I realized what a HUGE blessing it was to lay there with them on either side of me. We listened while we hugged each other. Oh what a blessing! I thank You for that moment. Give Teri the same moments with Josh. Let them start communicating openly and freely as You lead them. I thank You for working in their lives right now. Speak to them both as they sleep. Tell them great and marvelous things so they are encouraged and empowered to walk with You each day…it’s an adventure! Let them enjoy the journey and not stress about a thing. You are SO good! Hi Terri,
Please don’t give up on him. Even with all our sinful ways God still keeps his promise to us that he’ll never leave us nor forsake us. So, don’t leave nor forsake your Josh. It is now that he needs you the most. At 14 years, he thinks he knows it all – be a gentle and patient parent with him as God is gentle and patient with us all. The current times are the toughest to have a growing child – they are being inundated by circular manipulation in all things – be steadfast in your faith that God will lead him on the right path.

I pray that God will send his holy spirit to take control of your son Josh’s mind and that he will see the goodness in goodness. May God soften his behaviour and make him love you so that he can see your love for him. Amen.
