November 29, 2024 at 5:41 pmHello DAB family, I’ve been crying for days. My mother treated me awful so I didn’t go to Texas Thanksgiving. My mother was very unloving and abusive to us growing up. God had a talk with me and wants me to love her in a way she doesn’t deserve (like paying her debt to me with my own money), somehow that’s going to heal me. I can fake it, but what I really need is prayer to do this from the heart or I’m going to hell.

November 29, 2024 at 6:35 pmHello sister Dorothy, I’m praying with you that through Holy Spirit’s 🕊️ divine loving guidance, you are able to forgive your mother completely. I remember when the LORD was dealing with me to forgive my dad who basically disowned both my sister and I after he left my mom for another woman. At first I resisted, then I asked God for help, and He placed a supernatural love for dad in my heart. After He did, I saw that what I needed to do was to call him and tell him that I forgave him. This I think softened his heart not only towards me, but to the LORD also. I’m glad I forgave dad when I did. He died in a few months after. At dad’s memorial service I was approached by some friends of dad’s who were also evangelists, and they shared with me that they had the opportunity to pray with dad before he died, and he accepted the LORD. God only knows what would have happened to dad had I not obeyed and for forgiven him. Praying for you in Jesus’ ✝️ Name. 💕

November 29, 2024 at 8:33 pmDearest Dorothy; Be very careful you do not hold onto resentments and continuing replaying your hurts it’s totally valid to feel your feelings, but there is a difference acknowledging your emotions and endlessly recycling your woes over telling the story of how you been wronged and wounded can actually incur retraumatization and keep you trapped in pain. My Beloved, *This is not to minimize what you been through. Your feelings are valid, but at a certain point continuing to recite your tale of injury does more harm than good. As the saying goes, holding on to resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Un-forgiveness is a burden you carry Not them! Practice radical acceptance and releasing the past. Forgive not necessarily because they deserve it, but because you do. Free yourself from the chains of bitterness. Reclaim your own healing and growth. I pray this helps, and provides something to think about. I love you very much. 🙏🏻♥️🕊️

November 30, 2024 at 7:45 amFather, thank you for loving dorothysano and sending Your son Jesus to her salvation which she has accepted. Thank you for convicting her heart for a need to forgive and for her confessing her struggle to You. Open her heart to Your Holy Spirit and remind her that by confessing her sin, Jesus has already forgiven it. Give her peace that she is not going to hell. Let Your Spirit of forgiveness fill her to be able to forgive . Give her energy to continue to pursue the forgiveness she desires toward her mother. I offer a prayer for her mother to reconnect with Jesus and have a softened heart.

As in Ephesians 6:2-3 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
We pray in Jesus’ Name for His grace to live in His promise. Amen.tcookuabPrayers: 5099Requests: 84

December 2, 2024 at 12:44 amDear Dorothy, God has amazing blessing for you on the other side of forgiveness. Give it all to God- your hurt, your pain, all those bad memories. He wants to free you from all that pain and restore you. Trust God and obey knowing that He will lovingly lead and help you through it. Every time we forgive others who have hurt us, we receive the gift of peace and freedom from such a heavy burden. Praying over you and your mom. 🙏🏽
