Lord God I thank you for this mom who realizes her need for you. I pray God that you would surround her with people that love you and will be a help to her with her daughter. I pray that this will allow her time to trust and lean on you. I pray God that during this difficult time that you would show yourself strong in her life. Be a fence around her and cause her to see how we sometimes treat you, and you lovingly hold us close to yourself. You correct us with love and yet embrace us back to you. I pray that opportunities would come her way to make wise choices concerning her employment. I pray that you would get the glory out of her life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I stand in the gap for this family and the pleas of this young mother. I pray that you will raise up a community of prayer warriors to intercede for this mother and her daughter as they walk into a new life without a father or husband in the home. I pray that she would have the blessing of a church home to support her and nurture her faith. Father, your word promises that you will serve as the father and husband in the homes without this earthly presence. We stand on your promises, and we rejoice at the thoughts of how you will reveal yourself in this way to this young mother. She is pleading with you for a job with flexibility to allow her more time with her daughter. I join her in this petition, alongside this family of prayer warriors. Father, bestow your blessings upon this newly formed home. Impart your wisdom to this mother so that she can make wise, thoughtful decisions about her finances. Equip her with your divine guidance and prudence in all decisions about housing, employment, budget, transportation and child care.

Praying outside the box for our sister, that You will provide what is good and right for her and her daughter, no matter if it fits into any normal pattern. You made a way for me as a young mom to stay home with my children when there seemed to be no way. Make a way for them. Amen! ~gail
