March 18, 2023 at 3:12 pmThank you DAB family for praying for me these past few months. Praise to God for showing mercy by providing in our family’s financial needs through a contract role on track to becoming permanent. Thank you for praying for my wife, who due to childhood trauma has a default setting to try and control circumstances to feel secure. This has lead to unrealistic attempts to dictate and demand unrealistic ultimatums from me, rather than join together as a couple to fight together against a common enemy and for a future we both want. She has effectively separated from me, even though we still live in the same house since July 2022. I was hopeful that by now she would soften and see God’s grace snd provision as I have, but after eight months she has only increasingly shut herself off from God and me. As a narcissist she is all consumed by her needs and refuses to acknowledge the impact of her actions. Please pray for me that I remain understanding and remain steadfast in my faith that God can heal this situation. I pray for forgiveness that I enabled her behaviour in ignorance for 26 years, before identifying it for what it is. I coped well during the first four months of seperation, but I have started to become despondent as each breakthrough the Lord has provided, failed to have an impact, and instead has been mocked, ridiculed and belittled. I am blessed with a prayer group praying weekly specifically for us. Please pray for their patience and faith, as I increasingly rely on others to stand in the way of the storm for me too. There are still logistical and important practical career and financial matters I need to work on, and all this energy is being stolen by a rebellious relationship demanding the things prevented by her behaviour. Please pray that she sees how she is behaving is making it very difficult to get what she wants. We both want the same thing, despite her thinking otherwise.

March 18, 2023 at 9:02 pmLord, I lift up this marriage to You. I pray for each of these people to come to you in all things. That they serve You first, that they think of the spouse before they think of themselves. I pray that they make decisions based on Your Godly principles. That they use Your words to communicate. Thank You Jesus, In Your Holy Name, Amen.

March 19, 2023 at 9:05 amPraying that Jesus becomes LORD of all in this household. That the chains are broken. That bitterness and rebellion are swept away, past hurts are forgotten and released to heaven. Instead, forgiveness with reconcilliation and humility rule. That in your house you both will have purposed in your hearts to forgive one another because God has forgiven us. Pride, be the mountain that is made low, in the name of Jesus. Let Jesus be exalted and be made high. Let the fear of the LORD fill this house and His praise and honor be felt and tangible. Let this house be cleansed by Your blood, King Jesus, and washed clean of all filthiness and wickedness. I cry on the Holy Spirit along with this husband to consecrate himself to You, King Jesus. To love his wife even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her. The church never deserved the love of Christ, yet, God sent Jesus to demonstrate that love and defeated the enemy by doing things God’s way, taking up the cross that God had assigned and finishing the work there. It wasn’t fun for Jesus, either. But the work was done and He was able to declare in faith, “It is finished!” Praying with you my brother. Praying that you are the servant leader in your household despite having a stubborn and rebellious wife. This mountain will be moved as you cry out to heaven. The warfare is real but the Holy Spirit and the angels of God are more real. The demons will lose as you have consecrated yourself to God and know the covenant you have made to God, and to your unfaithful and abusing wife-she is in the “Teenager” stage, right now… The Holy Spirit’s power is unlimited… the demons will run out of gas… Christ in you is the hope of glory… See beyond her bad behavior and disrespect towards you. Christ was disrespected, too, but He perservered. You can, too. You have a covenant to keep and a wife to love. It’s hard to love a porcupine. But God is a God of miracles and strength, He gives His people wisdom. Porcupines are not extinct because they stay together, anyways, its all about the angles. ; ) . The flaming arrows of the evil one will be squelched by the shield of faith. Have the full armor of God on… even in your own house… things are tough, right now, but persist. With God, you will see the victory. Your family is covered by His blood and you will see the light of day as you pass through this tunnel to get to the other side. Praying and standing with you, my brother. I experience similar circumstances being married to an only child who lost her dad to suicide when she was in her early twenties… I have storms to deal with on my end, too, but have been learning to hang on and allow Christ to be be real and present in my house. Be the covering as Christ has covered you. He will hive you wisdom beyond yourself and csuse you to man up— to be that husband that He has called you to be. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Keep praying and listening. Christ will show you how to love your wife and to become the person that He wants you to become, despite the storms. Christ in you is the hope of glory. You have a big job ahead of you as do I, but He is well able to take you into the promised land. The giants will fall and God will be honored. Life will change for the better. You will see it happen as will I. Keep praying and being faithful, covenant is powerful and a blessing, it is spiritual, God will carry you through this journey. Keep going…
