Persecution of my students in Buddhist home

    Today I am sitting here after school. It has been both blessed and intense. Today, one of my students came and told me that he had never learned about Jesus before coming to my classroom. He said “you are the first person to tell me about Jesus…because before I did not know about Jesus…”…PRAISE GOD. FATHER SON AND HOLY SPIRIT

    Hallelujah!!

    Background: I am an American teaching in Cambodia, a Buddhist country. 99% of the students I teach have families that don’t believe in Jesus.

    After school today there was one of my 2nd grade students ,ASEAN, who has been struggling. His parents don’t believe in Jesus. His mom did believe(or maybe still does) but the father said no and seemed very angry…he expressed that after this his mom did not believe in Jesus.. They(his mom and dad) are making it very difficult for him and his sister to believe. He and his sister are essentially being persecuted in their homes. His uncle and grandmother, who live with them, also seem to believe in Jesus but are fearful of telling ASEAN’S mom and dad. So, him and his sister are the only two in the household standing for Jesus.

    It’s hard because I see the pain and tears when he talks about his mom and dad not believing in Jesus and the evil thoughts he is attacked with often.

    He stayed and talked to me for about an hour after school about what he was going through. He talked about his family and how they don’t believe, but also about the evil dreams and thoughts that he and his family are experiencing.

    Please pray without ceasing for ASEAN, his sister, uncle, grandmother and also for the salvation of their entire family.

    Dear Heavenly Father

    Thank you for your servant, who is teaching in Cambodia and that you are using them to touch lives and to bring others to the knowledge of Your Son, Christ Jesus.
    I lift up this family to You today Lord, and ask that Your Word will go with ASEAN, into his home and into the hearts and lives of everyone that he loves.
    Teach him how to pray for his family, and show him that You are a Father who loves and who cares for us, and that it is not Your will that anyone should perish, but that all come to know salvation through You.
    Take ASEAN’s pain and transfer it into passion.
    Take his fear, and turn it into faithfulness.
    Your Word says where two or three are gathered in my Name, there I am in the midst.
    As ASEAN and his sister come together in their home, You promised to be there. Teach them how to pray prayers of authority, and how to fight the spiritual powers that surround them. They are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, and I pray that they will begin to rise up in the power and in the strength of the Lord.
    Show them how to put on the whole armour of God, and use them for Your glory and for the extension of Your Kingdom here on earth, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

    Praying for all!! This has to be so tormenting to you, as to what to do!! God will, will be done!! It has always will be… To Him Be the Glory!!
