October 9, 2016 at 6:19 amI have doubts about worship being held on Sundays instead of the Sabbath as the bible commands. I fear Sunday worship is a trick from the adversary. Nowhere in the bible does it say or incur to worship on the first say of the week. We are to keep holy the 7th day. I am Baptist & I’m isolated because of my belief. If I ignore it, my punishment will be greater, because it was revealed to me that Christians are worshiping on the wrong day, not the day Our Heavenly Father commanded. This is a grave sin if I am correct. I pray about it every day, and have basically been scorned away by my pastor. He claims I challenged him when I was just asking to guide me where in the bible it says to worship on Sunday. He told me to read Acts 20: 7 where Paul breaks bread after midnight on Sunday. I replied breaking bread means to eat dinner, it did not say the Lord’s Supper. Please pray for me, so that I find the truth of the scripture. I am presently alone. There are 7th day Baptist Churches but very distant from me. I am an old woman afflicted with cancer. I need the Holy Spirit to guide me if I am right. If I am wrong then I need Christ’s Holy Spirit to untangle this mystery. I can’t go to service on Sunday for if its true that it is the wrong day of worship as commanded by Our Heavenly Father, I will be condemned. I think that if I am right, that worship is the 7th day, (the Sabbath) the whole world of Christiandom has been tricked by Satan. Please pray for me and for yourselves, to find the truth, so The Father is not offended in not following His command. The new covenant did not change the commandments. We are saved by grace through Our Lord Christ Jesus giving his life to pay for our sins and upon His resurrection the New Covenant was sealed, but it did not erase the 10 Commandments written in stone. Pray for me please, I am tormented & alone in my belief. Thank you for accepting me into your family. May the Lord’s Peace and Mercy be with you and with me also, Amen

October 9, 2016 at 5:49 pmSister. Never forget it’s a personal relationship with God that matters. If you have surrendered and given your life to Jesus and truly repented for your sins, this is what the good news is about. Every sin is the same in Gods eyes. If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ we would all be doomed.
Allow the holey spirit to work within you. God knows your feelings and He loves you. Church is awesome anytime you can get there….

October 14, 2016 at 5:38 amI pray that we may not burden ourselves with undue worries. It is obvious that you want to follow God and God loves you because of that. May we trust God enough to know that he loves us despite our imperfections

October 14, 2016 at 7:01 amPraying for you. It is a wonderful thing that you so desire to honour and obey the Lord in this. May you know his peace as he unravels these issues to you and puts peace into your heart. May you know how unconditionally he loves you, and fill your heart with the same love for those in your church, even if you have differing understandings on these things. May God bring healing to your body, and comfort to your heart wherever you’d felt isolated or misunderstood.
